Amos House Hotel & Swansea Ocean Villas  

Run away from this place as fast as you can. There are many negative comments on trip advisor about this place and I usually take those with a grain of salt, but this place lives up to its reputation. Unfortunately we saw those comments after we had booked the accomodation. You CAN NOT drink the water from the tap but the owners will sell you bottled water for $1.50 a bottle. The bathroom was clean enough when we arrived but the carpet in the room was not vacuumed I feel bad about having said that because I feel sorry for the housekeeper. There are plenty of signs everywhere about do this, don't do that, please be careful about making noise. How can you not make noise when the rooms are bunched up together, you can barely swing a cat in them and every movement comes with squeaky floorboards, day and night. I saw a lot of people go and look at the menu for the restaurant and walk away, and when the restaurant was open I only saw a couple of people in there. Before the actual stay I had planned on trying out the restaurant but I decided that I didn't want to waste any further money at this establishment.
