I have developed a bad impression of Regal hotel the moment I stepped in. Their customer service sucks and their room was pretty small for a 5 Star hotel.
This is what me and my friend encountered when we were checking-in at ard 8plus.
I proceed to check-in as its booked under my name and was told our room wasn't ready yet!The front desk said to wait for 45mins and I asked why and she couldn't explain to me why.Then she pass me a survey form and ask me to fill in n return back to her on the spot regarding room and the stay. I told her that I have yet to see my room and how am I supposed to put my review?
I asked to speak to their manager and she ignore me and speak to her colleague in Cantonese. After 10mins, I managed to find the manager and ask him what causes the delay.In short, my room was given away due to an flight delay.Upon hearing that,we were even upset bcos they have given up our hotel room to others without even informing us! I told him what happened at the front desk and he replied,"let me check with my staff bcos I only hear 1 side of yr story". I was further enraged when he said that, does he imply that we meant to create trouble out of nothing?
As we plan to go to The Peak after checking-in, but after everything was settled, it was too late and we were in no mood to enjoy ourselves.
Overall, our stay at this hotel has spoil our holiday mood and our impression of this hotel has become very bad. I will never go back to this hotel to stay again!!
