Review of Room 412
I found that the hotel staff and in particular those employed at the front desk, the concierge and the breakfast room where very helpful and very easy to deal with.
However I did have problems with the following:
The very small size of the room - there was no way that I could relate the room to the daily charge of nearly 2,500 HKD for the square meters available. I live and Dubai/Abu Dhabi and I regulary spend hotel time in London, New York and Sydney. Your charges for what is on offer are excessive.
The quality of the breakfast does not compare with other 5-star regional hotels and is definitely not in keeping with your 'small elite hotel' image. I have stayed in a number of the 'small elite hotels' listed in the room book and the Lux Manor is not at this standard.
We could not move out as I was informed that because this is a pre-paid room there is no refund even if I'm not happy.
Let's just leave it as - the room was Ok for the few days that I was there but for my next Hong Kong visit I'll be spending my money elsewhere. The hotel has great staff and for what ever else was on offer - it was just too expensive.

A hotel with a great difference
Loved the location, easy walking to MTR and close to eateries. Beds were comfortable, pillows not so. Would be a tad squeezy in the room (and especially the shower area) for bigger sized people. Breakfast was great, good selection of western dishes and freshly baked bread. The room door was unusually heavy and difficult to hold open when going through with luggage or the day's shopping. The scent in the reception was really nice and was a nice place to take pics (there is a Lao Fu Zi chair!). Overall a great refreshing accommodation as opposed to standard hotel chain rooms which you can find in every country.

The decor of the hotel is very good - nice to see someone break with the traditional hotel look. Very nice features. Breakfast buffet was nothing much, complimentary internet was great. Location excellent

The Luxe Manor provides a stylish and friendly hotel in Kowloon with excellent levels of customer service. The decor truly is unique and offers something different yet very appealing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the concierge provided numerous recommendations which always proved to be spot on.
Rooms were of a very good size and high level of cleanliness.
Would be my hotel of choice if I visit Hong Kong again.

Stylish small hotel in great location
This is a stylish small hotel right in the middle of the tourist area of Tsim Sha Tsui /Kowloon.
My room was smallish but comfortable and well appointed in some kind of italienate/venician style which seems to be the theme throughout the hotel.Breakfast: Good variety, good quality, very friendly service in all.There is an airport shuttle bus stop right outside the hotel
I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Would not stay again.
This hotel is over priced, and over rated. Small cluttered rooms, very poor facilities what they call a gym is a joke. Breakfast was poor quality and eaten off lap as the breakfast served in bar area ! Which smelt of the night before. Very poor value for money. I do not mind paying top dollar for a nice place and stay, but this hotel is not worth half what I paid. I did speak with the manger whilst I was there and she could offer no solution, just basically stated they charge so much because they can ! Do not stay.
