lovely with the best shuttle service
This beautiful little place may have been a little out of the main part of Ubud but we discovered wonderful places around it, and if you don't want to venture by foot the shuttle service drops you off and picks you up from where ever in the main area with a call within 10 minutes, any restaurant will call for you, very convenient, and the food and beer is street prices. The cocktails however are limited and pricy but theres a store right across the street.

This hotel should be a last resort if struggling for accommodation in Ubud as it is a fair distance from the city centre. The hotel does have a shuttle but this stops at 10pm & the cab fares from town to the hotel are quite steep. The hotel has friendly & very accommodating staff - this cannot be faulted. Most of them really go the extra mile. Unfortunately most of the rooms here are old & I was greeted daily by a swarm of geckos outside my front door & bathroom - not to mention a rickety front door that wouldn't close without the help of the hotel staff. Whilst the staff were acclodating, my stay in Ubud was detracted by staying in a hotel so far from town & if I had my time again I would choose another hotel on this basis alone.
I should also mention the hotel reneged on the advertised airport shuttle transfer ad apparently this does not apply to customers who book through AsiaRooms-I didn't understand the logic of this & was very dissapointed to only have this told to me on nunnery day

Taman Harum was not our first choice...
Taman Harum was not our first choice of accomodation in the Ubud area, but I am very glad we stayed in this resort. From the moment we walked in we were made most welcome and felt comfortable. The staff are happy and very attentive. My children did the batik painting activity and my wife did the cooking class which they all loved doing. The activities at the hotel are well worth participating in.
The pool area is lovely and the food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service from the restaurant staff.
During three weeks travel in Bali, we stayed at three hotels, all were very good but Taman Harum was the favourite of the family.

I stayed at Taman Harum for 2 weeks and could not of asked for anything more. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to make your stay relaxing,enjoyable and memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. I look forward to staying there again next year.

We had a wonderful stay in Taman...
We had a wonderful stay in Taman Harum. The place was beautiful and serene. The room was spacious and clean. It was a 2-storey unit with bedroom on the top floor and the living room and outdoor bathroom on the ground floor. Service was also great. The Spa facility was very basic but worth every money spent. I was treated by a good masseuse. There was a free shuttle service to Ubud town centre from 9am - 10pm. Good news for muslim travellers .... there was a HALAL nasi padang restaurant operated by Sumbar Hidup just 500 metres away from the hotel. The food was delicious and cheap. However, I noticed there was a presence of white ants near the staircase and the air-conditioning system was not cold enough. Otherwise it would have been a perfect place. We have no hesitation to recommend this place to others.

We took the villa and stayed for 2 nights, the room is big and enough for 3 persons. There is a queen bed on the first floor and a single bed on the second floor but only first floor has air-con so it was warm sleeping on the upper floor. The tiolet flush was malfunction and water run non stop. However, the staff were all very friendly and helpful! We love Taman Harum's surrounding and ambiance it give you a calm and serence feeling, it a good place to rest and relax. Though, the room rate was slightly over priced.

Tamun Harum Cottages is set amongst lovely...
Tamun Harum Cottages is set amongst lovely grounds backing onto rice fields with an inviting clean pool. The hotel provides a free shuttle to and from Ubud all day until 10pm - very handy. The staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. Our first room had a leaking airconditioner, worms in the outside bathtub, many mosquitos and smelt of dampness/mould. After mentioning the leaking aircon we were moved to a larger room where we had no problems. All rooms are cleaned daily and the hot water worked well. The breakfast was a set menu and cooked nicely. We suggest you hire a driver to visit the volcano or any other day trips as it is much cheaper than booking through the hotel. Massages are available any time of the day. Great way to unwind and relax. We would suggest this hotel to friends and family. Pay a little extra for the larger rooms, they are worth it. Feb 2009. Queensland - Australia.

We had an absolute wonderful stay Taman Harum was more beautiful that I could have ever imagined and gave us the perfect Bali feeling!!!
The staff were all very helpful and incredibly friendly!
I would definately recommend it to our friends and if I ever have the privalage of traveling to Bali again I would choose Taman Hatrum again!
They also had a free shuttel service to Ubud avalible wich came as a total suprize!

We've stayed in Taman Harum for 4...
We've stayed in Taman Harum for 4 days. It was an enjoyable stay. The hotel is a bit far from the center of UBUD (10 min by car) but it really worth it: calm, serenity, great service, good food, the rooms are simply huge.
We would likely come back and definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Beautiful settings, but far out of town. Eventhough there is a shuttle service - you just don't go back if you need something.
The rooms are special but nice and big. The bathroom was wonderful in the outdoor.
