Our welcoming to the royal hotel was not that welcoming firstly transported was not provided from our hotel to get there , alot of hotels in Bali Provide free transport from airport or from another hotel but this was not a major just something that stood out. Then on arrival we had booked 2 rooms and were quoted a price for 2 adults and 1 child Per room, I had printed out my booking confirmation from Asia.com and presented to the hotel when they started staying there was an extra charge for the children, I had especially checked this out before as I know when booking thru agents these kind of things always happen but I had it in writing. They did not handle it in the Bali style I had grown accustomed to, and put up a big fight saying they would have to contact the agent the next day a d check with them andcthen would charge us appropriately. My husband told them they can do what they want but that we were not paying a cent more then we were quoted and if the agent has made a mistake the hotel must carry the loss and not us, they choose to use Asia.com and it's not our problem. Anyway they didn't charge us but made a big fuss to put extra beds in the room and it just really left a bad taste. We had 2 rooms my parents room was fine our was very poor and dark , there wasn't a wall btw the bathroom and bedroom just a wooden blind so every time som eone went to the toilet the whole room stunk, then to add to it the toilet got blocked. They did offer for us to move to another room which we did for 1 night. Despite all this it's a great hotel. Good location and grounds and we had an amazing time. I would stay again but only in the villas not in the hotel rooms. We stayed at 3 hotels in Bali and as far as service and attitude of staff this was the worst but probably cause it's seminyak and busy etc etc, it's like from country to city people and attitudes change.,

Beautiful grounds and location- Room to be improved.
After being disappointed by the room size, quality and cleanness (despite being upgraded on arrival to a grand deluxe room) we were happy to discover a beautiful pool area facing Seminyak beach with a very nice lounge atmosphere.
The food from the pool cafe, the Asian restaurant, breakfast and room service was great and all our requests for our two babies were attended quickly and very nicely.
It is a nice hotel to spend a family holiday although expensive for what it is, especially being used to Asian beautiful hotels.

Fantastic hotel. One of the best we've stayed in. Great service, good sized room, excellent toiletries and the all the staff were wonderfully friendly and always said hello with a smile. Food was delicous. Would definately stay there again.

A wonderfull place to go.
This hotel has a very good location. Seminyak is a nicer place than Kuta or Legian who are too crazzy, too young and too much pubs. The hotel is located in a very quite place, facing the sea and very closed from shops and restaurants.
The hotel is very nice with a very beautiful park and 2 wonderfull swimming pool, and people who works inside are extremely nice, alway smiling and having a few words for you.
You can choose this hotel you'll don't mistake.
When I'll turn back in Bali I'll go back inside.

Issues on arrival
When we first arrived we had major issues with our water in our bathroom. The hotel was fully booked on that night howerever after making a complaint the hotel upgraded our room to a villa. This was spectacular and the hotel were very accommadating from this point. I must staff did everything they could to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. I would have no problems recommending this to anyone.

I stayed in room no 122 , all mattress are soft that bad for the backbone . I woke up in the morning with aches all the body and so my daughter. The quality of the bed is very important for us. I consider to stay again in this hotel if the management have changed the mattress.

great location, great pool, beach front!!
hotel was great... alot of families and couples everywhere so maybe a little too quite for a young group of girls but great for relaxing and lying by the pool with a cocktail!!
