Friendly environment
The Standard rooms that I booked for is very ideal for budget traveller. However is NOT suitable for seniors or elderly. The lighting in the rooms are too dim or rather dark for older people. Rooms are infested with mosquitos. If beds are cover with mosquito net will prevent us from getting mosquitos bites. Hotel staffs are friendly, environment is green and peaceful .

We were in a standard room which was very spacious & clean although older style.
The bathroom & towels etc.needing an upgrade which is in the offing shortly.
The property has three swimming pools so none of the guests are too far from a pool.
There is a new deluxe section just being completed around he newest of the pools.
The rooms in this section are very upmarket with flat screen TV, plus dressing area & bath tub with separate shower. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Staff are pleasant, welcoming and are willing to assist with any issue you may have. The rooms are extremely tired looking, which could be easily fixed with a paint job and new linen. The new pool is fabulous, as are the new rooms, which will be finished in the next few months.

Hotel clean,staff friendly, location good five minute walk to beach,choice of cooked eggs and pancakes everyday,also fresh fruit, for the cost if paid 50% more would still be happy with value,would stay again,good value for its rating

The second time I stayed at the Swastika and not the last! Top Spot in Sanur, even if it is not just on the beach, but their staff does it all, all are friendly, polite and makes you feel at home. The rooms large and terrace great. The pools are clean and nice. Thanks to all at Swastika that made my days between 30/11-14/12 2011 so wonderful!

Return visit
We enjoyed our week. Room problems were attended to promptly. Breakfast was adequate. We returned for a further 2 nights after being disappointed with Lovina accomodation. I have noticed a $15.00AUD price increase per night in past 11 months - hope that doesn't continue. Convenient location to restaurants etc. Appreciated the TV channels choices as many places don't have English programmes.

Good Value for money
Set in lovely gardens with 2 swimming pools (soon to be 3), the Swastika is quiet and relaxing. Rooms are big and comfortable, some bathrooms could do with a refresh. Breakfast is above average. Generally very good value for money.

The pool and grounds are lovely, a very peaceful and relaxing environment.
The staff were great, always a friendly and cheerful smile and helpful.
The included breakfast's are delicious, in a fantasic setting with many choices.
The location is in the heart of Sanur, a small walk to Hardy's mall/supermarket, restaurants and the beach.
I would definately stay here again, the rooms are priced accordingly and very affordable.

While there, can you please feed the hotel cats (Gingers 1 to 4) the food can be bought at Hardy's or they were quite taken with any left over breakfast goodies.
The rooms are a little dated but are large, comfortable and clean.

Old but value
The accommodation is showing its age a bit, especially the bathrooms, but nonetheless it is excellent value for money.
Air Conditioning is great, the rooms are spacious and cleanplus the king size bed was frim and comfortable. Rooms are serviced daily with clean towels and bottles of water included.
Staff are very friendly, gentle and helpful with nothing seeming to be too much trouble. We checked in at 02:30 in the morning and settled our account the evening before we left at 06:00 the following morning. Organising trips and a driver to Kuta and the airport was no problem at all.
Our apartment, set on the first floor amongst the trees, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, was lovely. The restaurant is adjacent to a lovely pool complex with very reasonaby priced massage, facial, hair, manicure and pedicure services on site.
The complex is positioned right in the centre of Sanur with many shops, restaurants and other services all right on hand.
Hard to beat at around AUD50 a double a night including breakfast.
