Tranquil & Peaceful
We loved the Tamukami, we had friendly professionel service every day, it was very clean and the garden/pool area was well keept. Breakfast was fantastic - fresh fruit, bacon & eggs, coffee, fresh juice - served with a smile. I would reccomend it for couples & mature travellers or families looking for a quiet place to stay, it is set back from the road but is only a short walk from the beach. We also enjoyed the Jamu Spa just down the road & the Beach Cafe right on Sanur beach.

My wife and I have stayed at other resorts including Nusa Dua in past years. Now in our seventies it was our aim to find a small quiet family hotel and a friend recommended the Tamukami in Sanur. We found this to be just what we were hoping to find and after spending seven nights in the hotel we shall without question look forward to staying there again.

Fantasmagorical
Very quiet and relaxing hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious. This an ideal spot for couples seeking a quiet relaxing holiday.
The breakfast isn't a buffet but was an ideall start to the day. The pool area was very relaxing and well maintained.

Very good staff smiling all the time, we found lizard in the room.
Two matresses for a couple instead of kingside or queensize mattress.
Not value for money for the kind of accommodation I think $50 is more then enough ad there are many more hotels Which is close to city otherwise you will endup paying much more for your transport and taxi drivers are ripping off.

Garden Oasis
Tamukami is a quiet, garden oasis away from the main street. The staff were friendly and helpul. The pool was a fantastic way to refresh after a day out and a about. One criticism is that pool side chairs are at a premium, so you can miss out!

Arrived at night no security at gate no one in reception baggage had to be left outside i had issue with no safe in room as management will only cover you for $250 if all yr possessions stolen from front office Stayed 2 weeks and breakfast was included in price but it did not vary at all american everyday so if you want variety you need go out We had a shower in the bath which was awkward as bath very high and wide so getting in and out especially with wet floors was a bit scary Owners live at hotel so a visible presence everyday Not really for people who want to do bombies into the pool or for raging pool parties but was nice quiet not huge gardens for walking around very peaceful The staff all lovely good location clean pool not too big Had a few cats fighting/mating all night but all in all i would go back

Great location & very friendly.
The towels were often thin and 'scratchy' I would like to have had softer type towels in the bathroom. The Pool towels were great!
They need to provide a side-plate at breakfast instead of putting eggs, bacon etc as well as toast, jam and honey on the same large plate.

Quiet Hotel
Great hotel if you are looking for a quiet, clean, small hotel. Would suit older couples looking for a quiet and centrally located hotel in Sanur

Tamukami is a very nice small hotel. The bungalowsuite room is big and the cleanliness is ok. There were 2 things we did not like. First:the breakfast which was included, was very poor and very boring. The menu says: choice of fresh homemade bread and homemade sweets. Which actually meant the choice between old white toasted bread or old brown toasted bread. And the choice between a chocolate roll and a chocolate roll!! Further you can choose between eggs OR cheese and ham. We expected a much better breakfast for such a hotel!!.
The second thing is that there are nog enough sunbeds in the poolarea. So if you are not lucky the beds are allready reserved by people who put their towel on the bed early in the morning and come back hours later.
Allthough the hotel is really nice, we will not come back again
