This hotel is absolutely wonderful! The room was exactly what I had imagined reading all those travel magazine articles about a peaceful, zen like stay in Southeast Asia. It is incredibly romantic and the staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. Every small detail has been accounted for and your every need is met.
The one thing I would say is location. If you want to be near the beach, Ubud where this is located is a good 20-30min taxi ride from the beach/party towns of the south (seminyak, jimbaran, etc). However it is quite central so our trips to lake bratan, novina waterfalls in the north were not as long because we chose this central location. And we wanted to be surrounded in serene green so this was absolutely perfect.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to stay in central Bali.

Definitely a place for relaxation,recommended for couples! place is around a 10-15 mins private car ride from the Ubud town, provided by the resort. The service staff treats you more like a friend and you really feel at ease there! All staff are very friendly and it feels like a paradise out in the wild :) Compared to the Komanekya Monkey Forest, it's more peaceful and feels more exclusive. Romantic dinner at the own villa is definitely a must, as the candles laid out at your own pool creates a nice and tranquil atmosphere, will definitely will go back again, highly recommended ;)

Komaneka Tanggayuda is a very pretty boutique hotel. The staff are very friendly and their service is great. They are very personal, attentive and yet unobstrusive. The restaurant serves very good food especially the balinese beef rib. We love the breakfast too. They served excellent eggs! We wished that we had more meals within the premise rather than dine in some so-so restaurants in Ubud city.
The therapists at the spa offers very good massages and very skilled. However, the massage beds need some "upgrading" as they have this damp odour of an old chair.
The resort is very maintained, but I still had a problem with the sandflies and insects. I had many nasty bites!
Overall, we really enjoyed our 5 days stay in Komeneka Tanggayuda.

The services and attention from the hotel staff are excellent! Dispite of the far distance from ubud shopping street, hotel gives regular send and pickup service that made travels more convenient.

The stay in Komeneka Tanggayuda was absolutly fabulous. I must say that it is a place worth value!The location is a bit away form the Ubud central, but there are shuttle buses that run regulary, and dispite the fact that it is far, the sightview and calmness of the local area is so beatiful. What makes it better is the great staff who area all very very kind and helpful. I would recomend this resort to anyone who would stay in ubud.

I booked this hotel based on reviews I read on the internet and I can only say I am glad I did!
This is such a lovely hotel! Not just because the villa's are great but even more because the staff makes you feel like a special person. They are so nice and polite, each and everyone of them. So different from what I usually get when staying somewhere in Europe. The location in between the banana and coconut trees is so special and the sounds you here all day from the birds ect..
And the giant bathtub outside is just something I will never forget: so romantic! I want to go back NOW!

My husband and I stayed at Komaneka...
My husband and I stayed at Komaneka Tanggayuda for 2 nights. It was perfect. The staff were excellent, the location was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. It was no problem at all being 15 - 20 minutes away from moneky forest road as the resort provided a comfortable shuttle service that ran every hour and would also cater to your needs of where you wanted to stop and look around. The food was excellent, the staff attentive and the room and room service was great. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend this place for a relaxing and memorable time.

Komaneka at Tanggayuda was a fantastic experience...
Komaneka at Tanggayuda was a fantastic experience for my girlfriend and I. We we a little afraid of the distance to Ubud town but with the hourly shuttles to and fro from the hotel, this was not a problem at all.
The best part of the location is that you enjoy so much peace and serenity overlooking a forest. What a welcome respite from Ubud Central.
Service was excellent too. Balinese hospitality and more!
