We stayed here for two days after travelling for 2 weeks through Borneo. The resort looks really nice with all the palm trees and beautiful flowers in the garden. We loved the little huts near the beach!
You can get your drinks at the restaurant near the beach, but you 3 times!! more for the drinks compared to the hotel lobby.. (that why I rated 1 point lower on customer service). For the rest the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was very nice, only the bathroom was really outdated.. We hardly had warm water (the sea had a better temperature) throughout the day.
The food was great, only quite expensive compared to the rest of the country.
Compared to the rest of Borneo this place was to expensive! We wouldn't stay here again. Another downside is that it is quite far from the city.

The staff throughout were very friendly and always willing to help. Occasionally the standard of english was not great, for example there were sometimes confusion when we wanted to arrange transport, however there efforts were always great.
We found the room size/cleanliness/decoration to be excellent for the money that we paid, although we did find some issues with the shower with respect to water temperature at certain times of the day. We assumed this was due to other demands to the water supply at the same time. (It should be noted that the rooms are divided into separate blocks. We got the feeling that we were perhaps in one of the newer blocks and did not get the chance to see what the rooms were like in any of the other blocks).
We found the pool area to be fine although when we first arrived the water in the pool was very green. A couple of days into our stay the pool was closed for a day or two (with a notice saying pool closed due to high chlorine levels. After this period of closure the water returned to a more usual blue colour and the pool was open for the rest of our stay.

Our first trip to Asia we made even more eventful by the excellent accommodation we had at Beringgis.
The staff were fantastic where nothing was too much trouble and our every wish was catered for.
The meals were excellent and the pool and surrounds beautiful
The beach being so close made for a beautiful view.
If was just absolute value for money.
Too small negatives being poor internet usage and distance from KK we found ways around both with a little imagination.

facilities are OK. NO bell boy, no elevator, guest need to carry his heavy luggage up & down the staircases. Location is very bad, we can impossible find a taxi at hotel nearby, guests had to take a car which must arranged by hotel to the town and airport.(Ringgit $50) The swimming pool is OK but I don't know why the hotel admit many people wearing casualwear (long sleeve T-shirt & trousers) inside the pool.
We will not stay this hotel again.

And air condition was too old to use, which made noise like a raining. Sunset from the beach was quite splinded but the sand of the beach was dark black, to tell the truth, i didn’t want to soark my body in the sea. This place was far from the city centre and isolated from commercial district so that once you stay there you have to depends on everything to this resort wheather you want or not.

We had a very satisfying stay although it would have been better definitely if there were no renovations going on. We really enjoyed the ambience and the magnificient sunset. Also, I was really impressed with the front desk service. I called up the night before we were to check in to enquire about a tour that we wanted to do immediately upon checking in. I was pleased to find out that they have made all the arrangements without any hassle at all. Most of all, we would like to commend Mr Jaferi, our tour guide for his extreme professionalism, humour, insight and knowledge.We really enjoyed his company when we went for the wildlife river cruise. Thumbs up as we really had a wonderful time and that was practically the highlight of our entire trip.

This is a very good beach resort, a couple of things that let it down, it has no proper lounge/bar, the most off putting is the distance from KK and any other restaurants etc. Other than that the staff are brilliant, food is good they have just revamped the menu and it is now much better than before. Good pool area and right on the beach as well. Good for a quiet relaxing holiday away from it all.
