Great Hotel with a Stunning Beach
Great Hotel with a great location situated at the quieter end of patai Tengah. Patai cenang only a 10/15 minute stroll away. Fantastic Quiet Beach with stunning views. A Very Clean Large swimming pool with swim up bar and Jacuzzi, which is great for afternoon cocktails.

At the arrival, there is no welcome as such. The check-in was fast there were only few people.
The room was large, with partial view on the beach as requested.
The room was cleaned properly every day, but the furniture, the bathtub and sink .. were in very poor conditions.
The breakfast was a la carte : Fresh juice is can juice, cafe was horrible, my wife did not drink it, on the 2nd day when we specifically mentionned no toast but bread to be served due to severe allergy reason, we have got toast therefore we just gave up. We have our breakfast outside where there are nice french and english pastry, cafe and tea .....
Spend most of the time outside of the hotel, we rented a car for only 50 MYR/d

Two single female friends
My friend and I were very pleased with this hotel, the amenities, the location, the atmosphere. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and big, and even though you can barely see the ocean from the balcony, there is a lovely green garden to look at. The fitness room is very nice and big and is open from 10am to 10pm. The spa is a bit pricey, but there are many options within walking distance of the resort. Just be aware that their version of foot reflexology is not pressure points, but just rubbing. The food was a bit pricey for the quality at the hotel, but we did give in a few days and ordered while sitting by the pool. Since upon arrival they ask for a 200RM deposit for in house purchases all we had to do is sign for the food (if you don't use the deposit you get it back). The beach area was nice and shaded by trees and comfy lounges, but there were annoying little birds that hung around because some people must've thought it would be nice to feed them. The pool is huge and has an in pool bar, and there is plenty of lounges around it. The first few days were quiet for us, and then there were more families checking in. Not a big problem though as there is plenty of room in the pool.
Wifi was a big issue for me as I am studying for my master's degree and the wifi at the hotel is very expensive. However, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the hotel that had free wifi for customers. Even if there is not a sign, ask at the restaurants and they may have it. They also don't mind if you hang around for a while after you finish your meal to use the wifi for additional time. Here are a few: Troppo Co., Red Tomato, El Nino Steak House, L'Osteria, Chocolatine.

Well Run,Friendly,Pleasent resort.
Family orientated hotel with large swimming pool right on clean beach for swimming. Restaurants close by for evening meal. Friendly staff and locals. Fixed price taxis all over the island so hassle free from haggling. Room decent enough.Plenty of sunbeds around great swimming pool. Hotel recommended for couples and families.

Strange price for a luxurious 'hostel'
This hotel is a big mistake. I believe that it used to be luxurious and well organised but they should have redesigned or maintained the building 20 years ago. It's very dirty, the building is expired and I believe this hotel is more inconvenient then most hostels. For examples the showerhead was attached to the the wall at the height of 1.70m (too low for most Caucasians), the television had just 6 channels and in a twin room you will find only one little bottle of water in the minibar. I have many examples but don't want to take away the fun.
A few positive things. The staff is friendly, the pictures on the website are splendid and there is lots to laugh about with the other guest who are searching for the value for their money too.

Room need renovation
Just come back from Langkawi and we stay at 3 nights. The swimming pool is good with big size, difference depth for child and adult. The room seems "outdate" and need renovation. Find some dust on floor. At bathroom, the bathtub drainage system need repair, always have water on it after take bath. The receptionist and hotel staff never say "good morning/afternoon/night" No need to eat at hotel restaurant , just go to oppsite and have a good restaurant for breakfast .The price for this hotel is just "reasonable"

Not value for money, we are lucky i guess to have a room "problem-free" as we have heard countless guests complains throughout our stay there. Bathroom leak, aircon noisy/ not functioning properly, musky smelling etc. Ours was alright, except the aircon was noisy, thank goodness we brought ear plugs along. Location was not too bad though, with many restaurants nearby at much lower cost thus need not dine in hotel. However we did try the hotel breakfast 1 day but felt it was overpriced given the selection available. Verdict, go only if u fancy location/ convenience.
