If you are looking for a lagoon sunny beach side hotel with sea view and lots of greenry.. you should opt for this hotel.
absolutely fantastic location about 3 kms from airport and has a great landscaping..
Asia Rooms is a wonderful site, they got this hotel for half the price which the hotel website says..
My recommendation is to take a rent-a-car if you are there for 3-4 days..its totally awesome to navigate in the same Island..

A good hotel, not 5 star, the staff were very good, always smiling and helpful in every way, except one breakfast waitress. The breakfast buffet needs to have some variation occationally but in all, ok.
We stayed in the sea village which was probably a mistake as the lagoon water is not clear, and the price difference is not justified between the hotel rooms and the village. The Spa, was overpriced for the service given, but we are used to Thai Spa's.
Pool good, and although too few beds, never had a problem getting one.
I think you would have to be pretty picky not to like the staff and resort.

Nice hotel with nice service minded staff, makes the stay complete.
It would be nice with some soft music in the pool bar, to make it a bit more relaxing.
The sad thing is the sea water. It could really be a lot nicer to swim in the ocean.. but there's not much to do about that.
It's only a short taxi ride to another beach where the water is really nice...

realy good high-class hotel with an excellent service.
we stayed there in oktober and it was very quiet with just a few guests in the hotel. the staff is very friendly and helpfull and the restaurants are as good as in european highclass hotels

Although stated to be a 5 star hotel to obtain a drink was very difficult. On their website the hotel should really be honest and explain that they prefer non drinkers. We were there in november and it was very empty and not very holiday like.

We stayed at the hotel in December 2004. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. However, we felt that the staff, though polite and courteous, were ill-trained and not very efficient. Service at the restaurant was very slow, even though the place was not terribly crowded. We were approached by several staff members to book tours through their "friend" who would give us at a good discount, rather than booking through the hotel concierge. The hotel is removed from the main town, which meant taking a taxi if we wanted to eat or shop elsewhere. Although ranked as a 5-star hotel, I would probably rate it a 4-star. Would I stay there again? Probably not.
