Rooms poorly maintained and a little cramped. Staff friendly but poorly trained. Breakfast buffet crowded with the same unimaginative offerings every day. Water in the lagoon not fit for fish let alone bathers.
Checked in and stayed about 10 mins before requesting a room change, i had booked the best room i could find online and it was nothing like advertised.
The service was terrible the people were not friendly.
When i said i wanted to check out there was not discussion about how they could make me stay they only replied OK.
I checked out and went to stay at the Berjaya Resort, highly reccomend this one it was fantastic.
Langkawi Lagoon is the worst hotel i ever seen in my life. They charge fortune and in return do not offer good customer service or room service. Manager she never smiles or say hi, food you order with NO chilli but they always bring with Chilli or too much salt. I would never ever recommend anybody to stay in Langkawi Lagoon.
I would give 0 star to this hotel and if you are looking for a good hotel, please look for something else.....

The stay at Langkawi Lagoon leaves me with no room for negative comment. The location was superb, away from the noisy urban area, a definite 5-min drive away from the airport. Cleanliness of the room was undoubtedly satisfying, the food was delicious with a widespread to choose from and lastly the staffs we too helpful and resourceful. However, a very minor setback was the concierge only operates at 7am, where I had to carry our luggages down ourselves as our flight was too early in the morning. But this doesn't deter me from returning to Langkawi Lagoon. Thumbs up to the management !!
This was our first trip to Malaysia and that too on our Honeymoon ! i have to put on record the fact that i have never seen such a beautiful country.
The Langkawi Lagoon was absolutely a Dream, we had booked a Junior Suite Seaview and they upgraded or allocated a Sea Village room and from then onwards we had the best time of our lives.
The room was ample and the washroom was quite large, the best part of the room was the seperate kitchen, lounge and bed areas which made the stay much more comfortable. The pinnacle was the Terrace/ balcony which overlooked the seaside and where we spent numerous times experiecning the rain with a hot cup of tea/ coffee.
The laguna Bistro was great, the pizza was amazing and so was the ambience.
The only thing we suggest would be to add some water sports because we had to travel to Pentai cenang Beach to experience the Jet Ski.
The Staff were very courteous and extremely helpful and hats off to all of them !
I further would like to put on record the fact that Asiarooms was the first time i ever tried Internet Booking and trust me it has made me very comfortable with the online booking aspect and in the future any international stay will have to be through Asiarooms Expertise.
Thanks Asiarooms & Langkawi Lagoon for making our first Honeymoon very memorable and true value for every penny spent !

the hotel staff made us stay in the lobby for two hours to check in ,, since as they were saying that they didnt get the reservation letter from the Agent (Asiarooms.com) ,, and they said that we have to pay for the room charge although that i have paid all the expenses through the Asiarooms website ,, then we settled the whole thing after a long time ,,
