Great location for foot exploration
Cititel is located within walking distance to many local attractions and affordable local street stores offering authentic Penang food, better than Gurney Drive that is getting too touristy now.

I booked 2 rooms from 10-14 December. Overall, I am satisfied with the hotel, it is well located. The only negative thing was my mum was cut by small pieces of broken glasses on the carpet in the room, it seemed the housekeeping staff did not carry out their job thorough enough. Well, I will still consider this hotel if I return for holidays in the future.

Lights along corridors are very dim & emergency escape route/instruction is not provided in each rooms.
Lastly, there is a need to improve the quality of TV reception as images are beyond watching level. Details must be taken care, for example softness of pillow & number of slippers should tally with the number of guests staying.
