First impression of The Corus is of grandeur and opulence. The tiled artwork is most impressive, so is the wrought iron used throughout the hotel. The open plan and mezzanine floor allows a good airflow throughout. The reception was most helpful, allowing us an early check-in which was most appreciated after a long journey. The views were fantastic from our window.
Fortunately we arrived on the last day of the school holidays, as the pool was extremely busy with swimmers fully attired. The water quality leaves much to be desired. There's a huge notice regarding pool protocol which was not observed......management should enforce their rules stringently as this is a health and safety issue.
I have no doubt that the Corus provides an outstanding children's school holiday program judging from the brochures available and the laughter/glee heard. It certainly does not meet my expectation of a 4 star international hotel and being charged 4 star rates. Breakfast was
adequate.
Will stay there again if I paid local prices but not international hotel rates.

Middle of nowhere
Hotel is very rundown, not like the website photos.
We were looking for a relaxing stopover, thinking this resort would be a better option than KL.
However without a car you are trapped at the resort, nothing within walking distance.
Even the beach is unappealing.
Had to book a taxi through the hotel to return to the airport and as charged 150 ringet compared to 95 ringet at the airport.
I have stayed at better 1 star hotels

Disappointed and frustrated
After a long drive from Singapore to Port Dickson, our six cars convoy reached Port Dickson around noon and to our greatest shocked, we couldn't find any parking lot to park our cars. Not even for one car! The whole stretched of parking lot were filled with cars and there were more cars coming in which caused a lot of congestions at the entrance to the hotel. There were cars parked outside the hotel along the roadside. We stayed for 3D/2N and the whole three days, we were frustrated with the security officer and the customer service staff who couldn't help us to solve the problems. Those cars who parked outside the hotel were fined by the local police. The ones that managed to park in the hotel compound were all blocking the other cars. It was a very chaotic and a frustrating stay. No more staying at Corus Paradise!

Lovely location, service disappointing
Hotel was very busy as our stay coincided with chinese new year, staff appeared to be overwhelmed. Needed to request the toilet and safe deposit to be fixed upon arrival in our room, these were ,however, attended to quite quickly. Used restaurant once, food was excellent but service was terrible. Pool area was busy, towel service was unreliable and no enforcement of the pool rules was apparent. Overall our stay was ok, however, we would not choose to stay at this hotel in the future.

Hotel and swinning pool has not keep up..water also no clean..I think It was better hotel and pool the last time I visited ( 2-3 years back)
