Cheap Hotel located in front of the...
Cheap Hotel located in front of the sea.Just to spend 1 night before going to the islands offshore.Probably it has been managed better in the past now it's better to go to the close Aryani Resort.I don't recommend it

Good quiet place. Deluxe rooms have a terrific location, directly overlooking the beach. Beach is pristine with very clear water. Adequately sized pool. Food at restaurant was good, unfortunately, they have a very limited bar menu. (Though if you pay corkage, you can have your own alcohol in the restaurant). The resort is about 30kms from Terengganu town, so taxi fare is about 60 ringgit one-way, but this puts it very close to Merang jetty, from where Redang island is 45 minutes away by speedboat. We enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending this resort.

Although online booking was done much earlier...
Although online booking was done much earlier prior to the dates we are staying, and all the confirmation are done via email, when we got to the resort, we realised that they have not reserved us the rooms that we wanted at all. We had wanted a seafront ground floor (since there were a number of children, it will be easier to go to and fro to the beach and swimming pool), instead we were given 2nd floor seafront. Their reason was also unreasonable, they mentioned that it was due to the Terengganu sports event (which was already over when we reached there). I wonder how the resort can confirm our bookings but still get it all wrong when the time comes. Is there no system on the resort side to make sure that online bookings tally? Even if there were no rooms at all, the least the management could do was to email or call us up personally so we would feel a little compensated.
