This hotel is near the convention centre and the downtown in Auckland. The room is quite big and the serivice is fair.

Overall very nice hotel in great location for downtown Auckland. Two beds in room were not big enough for two adults to share so we had to use one each. Water flow in Shower cubicle was pretty weak but bathroom was nice and a goodsize otherwise. We didn't use many of the facilities so can't really comment. Room was well equiped though. Would certainly recommend it.

We were extremely happy with our stay...
We were extremely happy with our stay a the Rendezvous in Auckland. The location and amenities and cleanliness were great. Rooms were large. For such a large hotel, we found it to be fairly quiet even though it had so much to offer in the way of restaurants, bar and shopping. It was easy enough to walk to the harbour from the hotel. Only a senior with a difficulty getting around would require transportation to the harbour or shopping district. Definitely recommend it to others.

we are a middle aged couple and we thought it was very good for our needs. the restaurant good but would have liked a more varied menu in the evening breakfast excellent. pool and gym superb but 2 degrees warmer would have been nice.room very comfortable bathroom excellent,only criticism t.v.poor quality picture on some stations. generally staff were very helpful and the central location was very convenient for most of the attractions.

We stayed at this hotel overnight. It is a new building, very clean, and in a good central position not far from the sky tower. It seemed most suitable for business people. There was a good breakfast available at a reasonable price, choice of cooked or continental. We found the continental the best value for money. The hotel was very nice but the staff at reception were less than helpful. No-one offered to help with our luggage, and it was 25 dollars for someone to park the car. We parked the car ourselves but had to pay a parking fee.

Reception and concierge service good and friendly, a bit hectic when cruise party arrives and you are checking out.Car parking facility for your Hire car good, ticket entry can be tempremental.
Breakfast room and food ok but its organisation not too good.Room service and standard was good, the fabric of hotel getting a little tired but it is still good.
The taxi service linked to hotel is excellant and competative its cars are immaculate.

Was pleasantly surprised. Large, clean room; very friendly and efficient staff. Best point is location; can walk to several restaurants and to the Skymall and Sky Tower. Would recommend and would return.
