The hotel is just nice for short...
The hotel is just nice for short stay. Overall value for money because hotel rooms in Singapore is one of the most expensive in the region. Location is ideal and near to entertainment district of Clark Quay. Minus point is the switching of lifts to access to rooms. Inconvenience and certainly not family friendly. Overall, acceptable standard.

The rooms are of a decent size,...
The rooms are of a decent size, the bathroom was great. Clean and it is one of the best stocked toilets I've been too.. The location is a bit out of the way but that's fine. The female staff at the reception was not very friendly. They took 2 hours to get our room ready but thankfully they gave us an extra two hours to check out. They were a bit silly and unapologetic when we got lock out of our room by 12. We were supposed to check out at 12 and I guess their hotel keys expires at 12 preventing the guests from entering and they forgot to extend ours. Other than that, I recommend going to this hotel.

I stayed in the hotel for a...
I stayed in the hotel for a 4 days business trip and really enjoyed my stay. Very nice room, good service, great location for business and going out in the evening and free internet on top. And this all for an acceptable price in Singapore. I will defenitely stay in the Gallery Hotel again the next time.

Hotel was ok. "intersting" architecture. Lots of glass. Strange arrangement re elevators - you chamge half way! Arrived early - not their fault - but they offered a 'freshen up' room and it was unfindable! . An escort might have been nice. Prompt efficient help when unable to connect to internet in room and fixed in moments. Dining room and breakfast in price were ok - not special but it made no pretence to be. Staff nice. It's singapore hey! You get cleanliness and efficiency as a basic human right and anything else you have to pay for. This was a costly by world standards but below average price for singapore and in that sense worth the money. And location - perfect - quiet, safe, on the river, surrounded by classy restaurants and food outlets or all sorts. I wont stay in orchard again - this is better, nearest mrt clarke quay - about 5oo meters so not walkable with luggage.

A simply excellent hotel, with facilities and service of the highest order. "Adrian" in Reception went out of his way to be helpful, then absolutely refused to accept a tip. Excellent breakfast and a very spacious and comfortable room. Extremely good value and a memorable, (for all the right reasons!) stay.

It's generally a nice cosy hotel with...
It's generally a nice cosy hotel with individuality, unique outdoor glass pool and overall very good service (eg. staff very flexible wrt making up of rooms timing, very clean). Also in a relatively good central location with easy access to nearby business district.
