due to plane delay we did not...
due to plane delay we did not arrive at hotel until 3.30a.m but found staff willing and able to help. They even gave us a room upgrade and allowed us to use room until 3.00p.m.

Location excellent for airport and East Coast...
Location excellent for airport and East Coast food outlets. Short and inexpensive taxi ride to Orchard Rd.etc. I stayed for 2 nights before travelling to Phuket and returned for 1 night before flying back to UK. Both of the rooms I stayed in were excellent 4* standard and the hotel restaurants and leisure facilities were first class. Definitely the best East Coast hotel. Asia Rooms services were again first class.

From room service to airport pickup, the service was very good. The location might be a good compromise between "near Airport" and "near shopping districts". We used it for a one-night/one-day stop before continuing our travels and were satisfied.

Good location being handy to both the airport and the city. Staff are very friendly and rooms are quite good. Not always easy to get a taxi though.

It was only an overnight stopover. Overall we were happy with the Roxy& its facilities.We tried to book it again on our return leg fr the 11th - 14th oct but failed to get in. We were too tired to look around & the reception there recommemded the Paramount next door. We were very disappointed with the hotel as it was overprice & dirty mainly because its old & desperately needs a facelift.The breakfast was mediocre & the food in the restaurant was average.It definitely is not 4 stars but more like 3 stars rating.We won't be returning there for sure. Also, the hotel entrance is pretty diffult to find for first timer because the location in feng shui terms is disastrous.The overall service was one of indifference,except for the duty manager who dealt with our complaints very efficiently.To sum up we are very happy with our bookings with asiarooms.com &( in Shanghai as well}& would definitely recommend our friends to use yr site for their travels in asia. I have stayed overnight at the hotel...
I have stayed overnight at the hotel twice en route to/from the UK and Australia. On the second occasion I was upgraded to an Executive room and found that to be much more likeable. Breakfast was good and transport to and from Changi Airport excellent. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Clean and utilitarian. Satisfactory for my purpose--an overnight layover between flights. Restaurants and bar in hotel. Also, several eating establishments at a nearby shopping center. Complimentary transport to/from Changi Airport (15 - 20 minutes).

We only had one night at the...
We only had one night at the Mercure, but stayed there last year as well. Its location is good for transit, but not for a holiday, so depends what you want. The hotel itself is very pleasant with a nice pool and the breakfast is good, but doesn't start early enough for an airport hotel. The tranfers too should go through the night as they do at the Changi Village Le Meridien in my opinion. I would stay there again in transit to or from a cruise if it suited our needs. Pre cruise stayed a couple of days at the Phoenix as part of our package which is a much better location to get around from, being close to MRT.

I agreed with the previous rating from other passed visitors. Basically, I can accept this hotel and add to my preferred list.

The stay was overall okay, the staff...
The stay was overall okay, the staff r friendly but not at all helpful. We r travelling with small kids / baby, and we had to go thru a lots of hasssle to get the baby cot ready. Definitely for business traveller n not for family with kids. Nice hotel but juz too bad ...............
