Location was very good.Very near chinatown and...
Location was very good.Very near chinatown and subwaystation. I had deluxe room,but i was bit disapointed,coz room was very small and bathroom,too.It was clean and good,but anyway not like DELUXEroom should be.I just thought,whatkind is standard room,coz hotel is not so cheap anyway.

Stay 2007 Jan 05 - 08; deluxe...
Stay 2007 Jan 05 - 08; deluxe room, twin; breakfast included; check-in/check-out was quick and efficient. Room service was great. Bell hop was quick to grab taxis. Hallway carpet and walls were clean and well-lit, a small but welcome feature lacking in other hotels (I hate dark hallways). We had a non-smoking room, slightly small but efficiently laid out. The walls were immaculately clean with beech wood accents matching the furniture. Very airy and elegant. The clean bathroom had a separate tub and shower. The room overlooked the pool side of the building, not a great view but away from the traffic noise on the other side. Aside from the cafe, I didn't make use of the restaurants and shops. The hotel is located next to Chinatown with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The river side area is only a 10 minute walk away. Chinatown subway station a few minutes from the lobby. Buffet breakfast adequate but surprisingly choice of fresh fruit was limited. Highly recommended, we will stay here again.

A great location for accessing China Town...
A great location for accessing China Town and locals such as Boat Quay, Clarke Quay etc. Very handy to two MRT stations. The hotel is well presented throughout. I will stay here again on my next passage through Singapore.

Great location if you want to be...
Great location if you want to be in Chinatown. The provision of a courtesy shower room at the end of the day prior to leaving for the airport is fantastic. Makes all the difference. Internet access is very expensive for this day and age.

The hotel is centrally located right at...
The hotel is centrally located right at the fringe of Chinatown. Public transportation is nearby. It is next to Chinatown MRT station and a few minutes walk to Clark Quay MRT. I was there during the eve of Chinese New Year to enjoy the festivities. I wish I had a room facing Chinatown. The room I had was on high floor, facing the pool, renovated and well appointed with modern amenities, however, the carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. The bathroom is very spacious and modern. I did not have a chance to partake the breakfast buffet, since I have an early morning flight to catch. It is not a 5 stars establishment, but it is a good value for the money.

Service from Yuki (guest services) was excellent....
Service from Yuki (guest services) was excellent. The range of foods for breakfast were good with choices for all people. Location is perfect for exploration of Singapore and close to the many restaurants of Clarke Quay. All staff were friendly and helpful and we will definitely stay at the hotel again when we return to Singapore.

We were really happy with this hotel...
We were really happy with this hotel - came to it at the end of our travels having stayed in a variety of other places including 2 'boutique hotels', which we also enjoyed. Value-for-money-wise, we felt Furama offered the best. Even though the decor and facilties could have been anywhere (a pity), it fulfilled all the needs of our family aged 3,42 and 57 (not looking for too many challenges when traveling with a youngster, especially by the end) - great room and bathroom, including bath; amazing view; swimming pool (not that accessible or good for kids, but available); generous buffet breakfast (included with room) and dinner (not - and a bit expensive when a glass of wine included!) that catered to all our tastes; very easy access to MRT, food stalls, shops and markets of Chinatown,; and to my great relief, an excellent DIY laundry facility complete with comfy sofa, tv and magazines. Great hotel, but the real action - obviously - is outside in the world, and one feels a bit cocooned from it when inside. All in all, we'd definitely go back to this hotel, and recommend it to friends and family.

The Furama City Centre is a very...
The Furama City Centre is a very good gotel in a great location. The room service was a little unpredictable at times, with our room not being serviced until 4.30pm on one of our day's stay. Like other guests, we would not necessarily be out all day, returning to the room for some cooling off and relaxing before going out again. We have always tried to time our jaunts so that we are out when room service is being done. It was not possible to do this at Furama. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

This hotel is some old, but cozy...
This hotel is some old, but cozy and reasonable rate. And it is near with MRT. We will stay there when we visit singapore next time.

Large hotel well placed on edge of...
Large hotel well placed on edge of China Town area. Hotel provide good tourist maps with five recommended walking routes. Rooms very comfortable but don't have a room next to the high speed lift shafts - noisy and smaller - we moved after first night to a much nicer room. Staff helpful in move. Very comfortable luxury in next room. Used their outside swimmimg pool and jacuzzi - very welcome in the humid heat. Good value and excellent breakfast included in the price.
