Thanks for a great stay. We only...
Thanks for a great stay. We only had the one night stopover in Singapore, but it was great to be able check in quickly and be able to enjoy the hotel's facilities, like the fantastic pool, as we were jetlagged and tired. There were restaurants, shopping and taxis to get us around, right at our door step. And also thank you to the Concierge for looking after our bags for the day so we could visit the zoo; as our flight home wasn't until late that night.

Although the hotel is a little older,...
Although the hotel is a little older, the location and great staff made it a great place to stay. The choice of restuarants was wonderful and breakfast at the hotel is a must have to start your day. A great surprise and wonderful option was the use of a computer station in the lobby. I would also suggest a manicure at the salon in the hotel lobby. We had a great stay.

The decor in the room seems to...
The decor in the room seems to be quite dated these days and did not match with a guide book reference that said the hotel had undergone a rennovation. The staff were helpful. My wife and I felt that that there was a strong smell of damp pervading the entire hotel. I was very dissapointed with the amount of noise "thumping" at night that seemed to come from one of the bars in the complex. Compared to the hotel we stayed at in Thailand on our return journey which was in a similar price range the orchard was dissapointing.

I have no real complaints about the...
I have no real complaints about the hotel, I have stayed at this hotel many times and it will continue to be my first choice for any R&R trip - a good location at the top of Orchard road. The service was generally friendly and efficient. The only down-side is the breakfasting facilities, on each and every morning the arrangements for breakfast were disorganised and poorly serviced for the number of people being catered for. I only suffered to stay for breakfast on only one of the four mornings I was at the hotel, the other three mornings I walked out to have breakfast elsewhere. The lack of bowls, cutlery, milk, clean tables etc all left a very poor impression.

This hotel is situated at the end...
This hotel is situated at the end of Orchard Rd, perfect for visitors. The facilities are good - 4 restaurants,a well known coffee outlet and some upmarket shops. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. Both limousine and metered taxis are readily available, and two tour desks are situated within the hotel.Breakfast is very adequate, and the individually made omelettes are a delight.

The Orchard Parade was a bit costly...
The Orchard Parade was a bit costly for the quality of hotel. I stayed in River Front hotel , and the room was much better. The bathroom has scales developed. I did not find any thing special in the hotel for which I can pay twice. The breakfast was mismanged and there was not much to eat. After serving tea once no body came back to ask for tea again. I had to run to a waiter and request for tea. Basicall if you want to charge some body twice you need to justify it, either by exceilent room or service and quality of food.
