During our travels we found this hotel...
During our travels we found this hotel to be the best. Nothing was too much for the staff and the room was perfectly clean will brilliant facilities. We found it to be very reasonably priced for the quality of room and service you get.

I was totally ignored and treated very badly in the piano bar.
The door man did not open the taxi doors for me etc.
I feel that this attitude towards single lady travellers should be addressed.
Apart from that I will recommend this hotal for any future friends going to Singapore.

This was the first time we had booked accommodation on the Net and were a little nervous, however asiarooms.com delivered and the hotel was expecting us, We have been to Singapore many time and stayed at several of the major hotels and had stayed at the same hotel some years ago when it was the Holiday Inn Crown Plaza, there were no surprises, the room was almost exactly the same, and showed no sign of refurbishment in the intervening years, carpets etc were grubby, and only a queen sized bed, although the lobby had been extensively renovated. My wife had expressed a thought we might stay at another hotel at Clark Quay area but on departure said she was glad we stayed in the Orchard area.
Hotel is well located and convenient for shopping, the staff were always pleasant and helpful and service was good. The mini bar was a bit of a bonus, though not the claimed value (We aren’t big drinkers and found it adequate) but 2 cans of local beer, 3 cans of soft drink and a couple of bottles of water a day seemed to be a long way from the claimed $Sng46.60 net value, it was restocked each day.

A fair hotel - staff were very friendly and helpful but rooms were very basic for the price. Views were npt very good - we had a concrete wall right outside the window and despite being on an upper floor it was gloomy. Also a hint of damp smell in the room. Breakfast was very good however, but overall not one of the best hotels we have stayed in

This hotel is in an excellent position close to everything, and the staff are very polite, helpful and efficient.
The down side- The rooms are very old and appear grotty, and the bathroom was extremely small.
The up side- The food was excellent and breakfast was included as well as free minibar, so this was great value.

Fantastic location for good value booked through Asiarooms.com. The rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortavble but it was noisy in the early hours of the morning with what I think was rubbish collection which took a very long time.
Good breakfast and helpful staff.

IT was my 6 or 7 stay at this hotel since 1998 and the location is very good and the lobby and the restaurant is excellent,but the rooms and especially the bathrooms have to be renovated now!!!
