I stayed one night on 28 May 2012 before I flew home to England from a long backpacking trip. I was upgraded to a club room as there were no non-smoking rooms available and it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in! The staff were fantastic and the breakfast and club lounge food was divine. All in all a fantastic experience, would definitely return when I revisit Singapore. Great hotel, just a little way out of the city centre, however taxi fares are very reasonable.

Trader's hotel Singapore
I have stayed in Traders Beijing and Singapore many times before and it has always been a great experience. The service is fantastic and so is the food. Trader's Singapore may not be right in the thick of Orchard Road but easy to get to anywhere from it. Tanglin Mall, behind the hotel offers a very wide range of upmarket shops, restaurants and even a food court in the basement. The hotel also has a shuttle bus to the train station from 10am. I guess I'm a convert and I'll stay at the Trader's anywhere in the world where there's one.

Excellent customer service and response time. Our flight was considerably delayed and I emailed from airport. The reply was speedy, efficient and reassuring. During our stay, the welcome, service, facilities and location were all excellent.

I was very impressed with the facilities of the hotel. The swimming pool and room were lovely. I was also very pleased with services offered to me. On my last day i had a late flight, and although i checked out at lunch time, i was able to store my baggage with the concierge and have a shower in the spa/gym before my flight to freshen up.
I also found the complimentary shuttle service to Orchard road useful.

The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. The baby sitting service was excellent too. I would strongly recommend the hotel to all my friends and family. Will definitely stay at the hotel again when I travel to Singapore..

Very obliging staff who allowed us an early check in (7a.m.) and late check out (3p.m) Excellent standard hotel situated at the top of Orchard Road. Bit of a walk to the MRT if you are not used to the heat but easy to get a taxi. Nice swimming pool area and good business centre.
