This being my second time staying at the Quincy, I found my stay not as surprising as the first time. The Mini bar whilst free is very basic and the selection at breakfast would be equivalent to that of a poor 1 star country hotel. It was most disappointing in food and quality. Lunch and Dinner selection was much better but the quality of the offered inclusive wines was no better than a poor clean skin. Accommodation and customer service however was excellent. There would need to be a advertised improvement before I would consider staying again considering what other hotels are offering.

Always a pleasure
I would never stay at another hotel in Singapore. This Hotel has everything from free minibar to Molton Brown bathroom products. It even includes all meals, Breakfast, Lunch AND Dinner.
Unfortunately with so many great eating spots in Singapore we don't usually have time to eat at the Quincy although the one time did the food was exceptional with free flowing wine during our dinner.

When you've done all the big name brands.
Having visited, and lived in, Singapore many times over the course of my life I have stayed in most of the big name hotels on the island state. So this time I decided I did not want to be yet another face/number in a high turnover mega-roomed big-name hotel. I stumbled across Quincy on AsiaRooms and was suprised to see what looked like a small, intimate boutique style hotel in one of the best central locations off Orchard Street. What I loved was the price was very reasonable compared with the big names AND included complimentary limo pick up from the airport on arrival, free use of all minibar items, complimentary laundry (2 items per day free), internet usage included; very personalised level of service but not annoyingly over-familiar. Gorgeous outdoor swimming pool jutting out from the side of the building on the 12th floor complete with gym with great views and complimentary yoga classes and cooking classes offered regularly. They try to be different from the rest and they do it well without trying too hard. The only thing they don't have is room service (as far as I could see) but all else, including extremely comfortable beds and pillows was perfect. Will definitely stay there again next time.

Nice, friendly, warm and cozy place
I love my room. It was nice and cozy. Everything that I needed was there.Like the idea that there were bottle mineral water everywhere be it in the gym, swimming pool or dining area which was great as I drink a lot of water. Takes me about 5 mins to walk to Orchard road which was great. The staff were very nice and friendly. First time spending time alone in a hotel for me so it was a good experience. I would definitely recommend it.

Quality But Overpriced
Although this is not a problem exclusive to this hotel, the rate is too high for what is delivered. As a general rule Singapore hotels are acceptable but overpriced - The Quincy is no exception.
The room was good, with everything in the right place, stylishly presented, clean, modern, etc. The size is good, but for the price could have been perhaps larger.
The hotel sells itself as an all inclusive experience - all meals, evening drinks, minibar, and airport pickup. Which is quite something, but the food quality, while good, was not exceptional. Which means you're paying for meals that you might prefer to have elsewhere if you're looking for a real fine dining experience.
A very nice plus (and a rarity) is that the pool, gym, and sauna area is open 24 hours. There are complementary (non alcoholic) drinks by the pool, and the pool, gym and sauna are all good.
I would recommend The Quincy if you're happy to eat all your meals at the hotel and aren't expecting exceptional fine dining. If you fancy a luxury, romantic dining experience for your stay then you might be better off paying less for a similar but not all inclusive hotel and having the choice of dining elsewhere.
