I've spent five nights at Coatel with a partner. Rating 3/5
Con:
Internet connection. As notified by the serviced apartment to provide internet at a fee . Upon arrival , we were surprised to be charged for loan of the cable which well, appears to be mandatory to pay an exorbitant price for. It costs 16 000 won per day for loan of a cable. That would be the price of 4 cables at any convenience store nearby which luckily, we happened to chanced upon at the fourth day.
Despite that , we were quite happy with these.
Washing machine provided with a sound proof door.
A highly efficient air conditioner.
TV with at least 4 english channels.
Clean and well designed room with spotlights placed strategically.
Average room service. expect to be out since morning if you expect the maid to make up the room.

service was only so-so. did not clean on sundays but overall it was okay. location is excellent. located in the heart of seoul action but far away from shopping. great for business travelers. no direct route from the airport but lots of taxicabs to help. general cab drivers have a hard time finding the place. take the more expensive black cabs if you are not confident in giving directions. i would stay again. it's a great value.

Very convenient place. although I had a problem with a room temperature, it is a great place to stay for a long term stay and the staff were very kind as well. I will definitely stay ay Coatel again when I am back in Korea.

We have problem searching for the hotel....
We have problem searching for the hotel. Even though some helpful Korean trying to help us. When we eventually found it, we were met with more disappointments. Room are stuffy and dusty. Noticed that the calendar has fliped to August 05, there must be no cleaning or maintenance for that room since then. Water Heater and Telephone not working and toilet bowl is dirty! Finally I have to go down to reception personally to ask for a change of room which they did. The second room was not much better but at least heater is working. Chambermaid only clears rubbish and replace towels, nothing much was done. Bad experience. Will never stay in Coatel again.
