The twin room is spacious but the airconditioner is bad, not cool even at 20 degree, same as the bathroom, no aircon at all. After making complaint with the front door (because no answer with the customer services), still no improvement. The room's sound proof is bad, I can hear people talking at midnight!!

As a single traveller to Seoul, I would like to find a hotel that is affordable as most of the hotels are quite expensive and I have nobody to split the cost. This hotel cost W880,000 per night, which is on the lower end. The location is 5 stations from the main tourist locations (Dongdaemun). Not too far, but when you have a long day, with all your goods in your hands and want to get back to the hotel as soon as possible, it can be a bit tiring.
It's a good idea to take the airport limousine 6101 to the hotel, about 1 hour 30 minutes and it will stop near the hotel. The cost is W14,000. When going back to airport, I took the subway to Seoul station and took the airport express train W13,800.
When I reached the hotel, it was around 11:30 a.m. and the hotel allowed me to have an early check-in. On my last day, they allowed me to check out at 2.30 p.m. which is appreciated.
The hotel is clean. No kettle in the room, but there is water dispenser (with warm water) at each level near the lift. The room is not very sound proof as I can hear doors closing and people walking along the corridor.
The E-mart and nearby shops and eating places are very convenient, as there are Dunkin Donuts, KFC (24 hour) and McDonalds. There are also popular cosmetic shops nearby. I will recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and don't mind a bit of travelling.

Location is abit far from Incheon Airport. Airport bus 6010 to Victoria Hotel is the cheapest compared to taxi but bus stop where you alighted is about 10 mins walk to hotel.Many food joints around the corner of Miasamgoeri subway which is also accessible to most of the places of interest.E Mart is opposite hotel and Lotte Shopping centre is further down near Miasamgoeri Station.Victoria Hotel staff are helpful and would be good if u get the staff who are able to converse in English especially Mr Jaf Han,a very accomodating receptionist.Rating for the hotel,I would give 7.5 for its price.Tip:chose 8th floor and odd numbers away from traffic but aircondition is bad,not cool around 25 degree.A word of caution if you want to take taxi to Incheon Airport,be prepare to cough out 110,000krw inclusive of toll gate fee .

For the money, I can't complain much..
The hotel lobby was nice, but once out of the lobby, the rest of the hotel isn't anything to write home about. There were a lot of dings and ripped wall paper, the furniture was quite scuffed and could have used a new coat of paint, but overall it was liveable. We also had no internet in our rooms...even with an ethernet cable. They said our room didn't have an ethernet jack so we were SOL for internet. They have a small business center and they had two computers plus an area for a laptop, it was just a bit obnoxious, that's all.The a/c is also a problem. The A/C wasn't turned on until 11pm every night which meant your room was soaking in the heat all day and would just barely be cool by the time you woke up the next morning. A bit obnoxious, as well.
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights so our rate was a bit cheaper: 80,000 won/night so the accommodation wasn't bad, just don't go expecting the hotel to be something you'd love to show off.
The area around the location isn't bad either. It's busy and has a theater, a McDonalds, a KFC and of course some regular Korean restaurants.
All in all, our stay wasn't miserable. We weren't in the room much due to the fact that Seoul has SO much to offer. I might stay here again if I ever knew I was going to be in Seoul and just needed to have a place to sleep at night but I don't believe I would actually recommend it to any friend.

I was pleased to see that the room was very clean upon arrival and throughout the stay. The room was very dated no table lamps for reading in bed which would have been nice. The bathroom was clean newer toilet and sink bath was dated and fixtures where not installed correctly. I don't tolerate dirty bathrooms and this was very clean just really needed to be touched up and tube fixtures needed to be redone correctly but they worked correctly. If you don't like firm mattress the beds would not be for you but I am not sure if all the mattress were the same in hotel though. Over all I would have to say for the money it was really good deal especially since it left me the extra money so I could cab it to and from the airport. I found that it was not all that far out from the city center as it seems. I like the fact you can take subway and step off and up to street side and hotel is right there as well as plenty of shopping little food vendors on the street. There is a medium small flee market right across the street with tons of little shops up and down all the alleyways you can find. I found prices where cheaper out at the markets near hotel and better deals there than when I was in the city markets. You are only 10 or 15 min subway stop away from the main gates, royal shrine, and 3 palaces. You right near a couple other markets as well that are not listed try walking downtown it is a walk but all the neat thing you find on the way make it worth it. I found things where dirty but winter was not over and did see some crews out cleaning. I suggest if you go this time a year take some wet wipes with you in travel packs nice for cleaning before you try that street food and for after. I did enjoy the food on street side was good and cheap way to eat out and fun way to try all different stuff don't think it cost me more than a $100USD a day great value for vacation. I found one thing out hotel later the heat is cut to about 20 degrees Celsius or so by law it is posted.

A good hotel for the price. In a good location downtown Seoul, very near subway connection (line #4). e-Mart (grocery/department store) located right across the street was a plus. I would stay here again. My only complaints are 1) the staff learns more basic/conversation english and 2) more up-to-date computers in business center.

The room was clean and nicely decorated. Staff were very polite and helpful. The only negative was that the hotel advertised that they had a fitness centre which I had hoped to use. The hotel had converted this into a conference room at some point. For what was offered I think the higher end love motels offer much better value (price/facilities).

The front desk staff was very friendly, and seemed to enjoy having foreigner visitors. They tried to speak English when I did not know the Korean word/phrase.
The room was nice, perhaps smaller than I would have thought. Everything was clean/orderly.
The bathroom was a little less desirable, though. Their was no hot water, only luke-warm in the shower, and the sink looked scuffed up. Not a major issue, on the whole, though.
I did not eat at the restaurant, or use the other services.
4/5 stars pretty well sums up my experience.
