Hotel Kingdom Is Really Nice to Stay
Hotel Kingdom is very nice to stay for vacationing. The room service is very convenient, the food is very delicious, and the waiters and waitresses are all very helpful. The customer service provided at the information desks is very efficient and friendly. I like to stay at Hotel Kingdom.

Hotel over rated!!
Stayed one night and I would not consider a good stay. The room has a cigarette smell when you enter and fortunately the staff is nice to help us make a change. Room is small and basic. The bed is too soft for comfort and can be quite noisy. I would see it as a 3-3.5 star hotel instead of the advertised 4 stars. The buffet breakfast is basic. Overall stay is average and i would not consider value for money.

Hotel kingdom is excellent in all aspects-excellent location with just 15 minutes on foot loaded with a luggage from metro line, just 5 minutes on metro to cijou island. Clean and normally spacious room. Decent price. Good breakfast. So my best regards to the team.

The hotel staff often recommend guest to use taxi to get to places. They are not familar with taking public transport like bus. Fortunately taxis there are reasonable and run by meter.
Breakfast is international but quality is not as good as some other hotels serving local taiwan porridge. If you like taiwan porridge for breakfast, better stay in other hotels.
Surrounding facilities are not as good as compared with hotels near Shopping district near Sogo. Can't find night market nearby and it's quiet at night.
However, general feel of hotel is good. It has gym and laundry room for guests to use which I find useful.

The hotel is super, everything should be rated 5-stars.
However, I've one comment on the phone charges. I made a phone call to the USA on June 8 (the day I checked in) at about 6 P.M. for about 1/2 hour (+/-). There was nowhere in the room we could find how the phone call be charged. We were shocked for the phone bill when we checked out in the morning on June 11. It was NT $1,207 (about USD $38.00) for the 1/2(+/-) hour call. The bill did not specify how long we were on the phone nor how much was per minute charge. We paid the bill first and asked the cashier at the counter to ckeck how the bill was calculated. She tried for more than 20 minutes but could not find the people responsible for making the bill. We could not wait for any longer because we have a flight to take that morning. So I left my home address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address with the cashier hoping to have some clarification on the bill. As of today (June 18), I have not received anything from the hotel yet. Just wonder if any other customers encountered the same problems before.

Good service and friendly staffs. We couldn't get our train ticket to hualian. But the staff helped us in getting our flight tickets ready easily.
Will stay there again if I'm to visit Kaoshsiung again.

A nice hotel with more than you...
A nice hotel with more than you need, but also not too luxury. Free internet connection in every room, good room service and a reasonable prize makes this hotel very interesting for everybody who looks for a clean, nice hotel.
Located at Wu-Fu Rd. you have plenty choices to go for a drink or dinner at night.
I stayed in Kingdom hotel already many times, and never found a reason to complain!
