Value for money
Location of hotel was excellent. Just next to zhongxiao dunhua MRT station. Shopping is great too... Espirit, Zara, Uniqlo, Net and many more shops just next to it. Breakfast can be better....
Will stay here again when we next next visit Taipei.

The Most Strategic Location Hotel
Very good location, just 5 steps away from the MRT. Taxi is very convenient. Beware that if you have brought a child with you, they will only give 2 free breakfast per room, nora matter if your child is 4 to 6 years of age. Another, is the free breakfast is only until 9:30am, take it or leave it. The free breakfast buffet is always a replay for my 5 nights stay. All else, I would recommend this hotel because of its strategic location.

I think a better job can be...
I think a better job can be done of taking pictures of the rooms. It will give the buyer a better understanding of how the room will actually be like. Only taking pictures of the better looking and high scale rooms can give the traveler the wrong impression. Other than that the hotel staff was courteous and always willing to help. Rooms were clean and courtesy umbrellas are provided for rainy days.

Concierge, Front desk, Housekeeping excellent. Room : nothing to rave about; adequate and everything works. Dated facilities evident - no central switch, no LCD tv, even kettle is not cordless. Shower within bathtub which is not user-friendly for elderly or kids. Good value as breakfast and internet access included in Asiaroom rate. Hard to beat for cleanliness and location.

Everything fine except room rate is on...
Everything fine except room rate is on the high side. It should be TWD3000-3300 per night because overall cost of living in Taiwan is still reasonably cheap.

Small bathroom with very old shower curtain...
Small bathroom with very old shower curtain which look dirty feeling. There is no floor height dressing mirror in the room. No doubt the staff are friendly, but generally most Taiwanese are friendly and helpful.Location is good, convenient foe shopping and surround by lot of eatery.

L.S. I enjoyed my stay at the San...
L.S. I enjoyed my stay at the San Want hotel very much, although I consider the time to limited: 3 nights only! The service was perfect and the staff was very kind and active. It was my first visit to Taipei but I was impressed by the people's kindness, in the hotel and restaurants, but also in the streets! Overall experience is great! My family truly enjoy the hospitality and great comfort in the room, especially the sinking bath tub, showering facilities and fully automated toilet seat!

San Want Hotel was just fine for...
San Want Hotel was just fine for the money and location. Convenient right on top of MRT station, very efficient housekeeping and pleasant reception staff, good breakfast. Bakery on first floor good for picking up lunch or snacks. Certainly not glamorous rooms, and view can be rather bleak (but still best to avoid overlooking Zhongxiao E. Rd - noisy!), but everything went just fine, including the internet hook-up. Great value for the money in a city where decent hotels can be quite expensive.
