We stayed at this hotel and the room we had was amazing, but we went for a meal on the rooftop and we were very disappointed they did not have a lot on the menu and it was very expensive, whilst we were eating our meal the waiter sat and stared at us eating our meal.

I originally booked the standard room, which to be honest was not great - and most importantly for me had no internet connection. I upgraded to the Deluxe room, and WOW! They are just fantastic, and I would echo the previous reviewer who said book the deluxe room initially, as it's cheaper than upgrading later! And you'll want to when you see how nice the rooms are!
Breakfast pretty good here - much more variety than most hotels in Thailand. Staff lovely too. Would definitely stay here again, and the deluxe rooms are worth the money, in my opinion!
Good location - on Silom, about 15 mins walk from Sala Daeng BTS or Silom MRT station - and about 10 mins walk from Night Bazaar and Patpong (if you like that kind of thing!). One word of advice - there is a guy outside on the road with a cab who persists with trying to persuade you his quoted price is the same as the meter price. Don't be fooled - always take a Taxi-Meter and insist on the meter fare in Bangkok. Then you can tip the driver a little extra, they'll always be happy and it still costs you peanuts! At peak time, don't travel by car - get a motorbike taxi and tuck your legs in! It's much quicker cutting thri the Bangkok jams!

I have been returning to this hotel for over 10 years (previously known as Tower Inn). The location is ideal for sightseeing, shopping and nightlife. I would suggest to upgrade to the deluxe executive rooms. All rooms are are very large although the bathrooms are on the smaller size but are adequate. The rooftop pool is ideal and never too overcrowed. Buffet breakfast is more than ample, serving both asian and western food. This is an ideal middle class hotel.

The standard rooms are really poor. I chosed a standard-room and made an upgrade there. I paid 1.200,-- Baht per night for the upgrade. So be so smart and book the deluxe room. The standard room is dirty, old carpet, old bathroom, old furniture. The size is ok.
The deluxe rooms are really good. Bathroom is a little bit to small for the roomsize and the sink was to small.
Breakfast is ok, location also. Opposite the Sofitel Silom and the Narai Hotel.
But... to be honest: for the price i paid it was to expensive. I will chose other hotels next time. There are much more choices around for the same or less money.

This hotel has very old rooms for the lowest class. The management wanted to make me pay another 1200 THB per night to upgrade to a better room. The basic room was really poor with 20 year old furnishing.
Breakfast buffet was ok and the sky restaurant on the roof and the pool area are actually pretty coo. I guess for families could be good but I strongly recommend to get a higher class room, else you live in a hole!

we had only half day (1 night)...
we had only half day (1 night) in Bangkok thus we chose this hotel as it was cheap and close to Patpong night market where we did our last minute shopping before leaving Thailand. the hotel was very standard, only sutiable for budget travellers. our room had a door where we could open and access to the next room, very scary when ou can hear everything from next room. theres no way we'd stay here again.
