I stayed in one of the Deluxe...

I stayed in one of the Deluxe rooms in the new wing, and it was fantastic. Lovely big room, balcony overlooking leafy courtyard, great breakfast also. Don't know about the standard rooms in the old wing though.

Breakfast was good. Hotel was clean. Service very friendly. Staff courteous and helpful. If the prices remain the same, we will return. Good service at a good price.

Misleading leaflet. The rooms are dirty and...

Misleading leaflet. The rooms are dirty and offensive smelling. We found the room facilities poor, such as no hot water, the shower is hand held , patchwork carpets where they have been repaired, old mouldy smelling aircon, damaged furniture and limited english cable channels (2). However that this moment the breakfast has been good, a wide choice of western and asian foods and the staff helpful. Due to the poor standards in the room we would not stay or recommend this hotel.

For that price, everything is good enough...

For that price, everything is good enough at the Trang Hotel in Bangkok. We had 3 person and they gave us a pretty big room, which is nice. What could be improved is cleanliness of the room. There is an stale ordour in the air as well as the bed. What is commendable is the breakfast venue. It has a small garden with koi pond. Great setting to sit through the morning reading, chatting with friends. Nothing much around the hotel. U can walk to the nearest jetty for a riverside tour though.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Trang...

My boyfriend and I stayed in Trang Hotel for tree nights. We will not go back in a few days when we will be back in Bangkok. We did not appreciate the way the staff of the hotel was with us. They are everything except smiling. The hotel was clean, but every services they offer is too much expensive. The breakfest was not good. I suggest you choose a warmer hotel instead of this one

Our trip was very good! Your hotel...

Our trip was very good! Your hotel is clean and quiet but your staff is not very friendly and not very helpfull... At our arrival, we have reserved one room with queen bed and we have had one room with twin bed. We have made two reservation, and this two reservation was the same thing! Morever when they negociate the price with a taxi driver, it was good if this price is better for your costumer and not for the taxi driver. Your employee in charge of the luggage (night service) had negociate the price for our taxi to go to the international airport for 300 baths or the real price shoudn't more than 180 baths (specially at 11h pm). This remarke is not available for all your staff: employee in charge of luggage (day service), the staff of the restaurant... was sympathic! My notation for this hotel is 6/10 due to the service information at the reception! But this hotel is still a good value/quality if you reserve by this website!
