We stayed one night in this hotel the second time. All the location, service, room and especially food are really great.
We identified this Hotel of best choice if staying a few days or as a transfer Hotel when staying overnight in Bangkok.

I particularly liked the courtesy of the staff and the tranquility of the place. There wasn't the usual hustle and bustle. If I have a chance, I'd like to come back some day. - Downside: On the Internet the Dusit Princess hotel is advertised as a hotel in airport vicinity. That isn't really true. It takes approx. 30 minutes by cab and costs anything between TB1,600 and 250 one way from the airport. You may wish to correct this misinformation.

Dusit Princess Srinakarin, quite far from downtown,almost 30 minutes by taxi to Siam Paragon shopping centre, 30 minutes by taxi to airport. There is a shopping mal beside the hotel.
But the hotel is absolutely great, b'fast so many varieties,receptionist and concierge were friendly.

This hotel was fantastic from the moment...
This hotel was fantastic from the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out. The service from the staff was second to none. The room we stayed in (cheapest one) was very spacious, clean and excellent value. The breakfast was delicious with an extensive range of continental, asian and western foods. The facilities were very good too. Situated right next door to the biggest shopping centre in South East Asia (Seacon Square) and located within 20 minutes to the airport. Could not ask for anything more. The only let-down was the noise from building renovations (temporary work) however, this would not put me off coming back again. Highly recomended, even those on a fairly tight budget. Check it out for yourselves folks!

The hotel seems to be quit empty, but the hotel still gave me a room where it was noise from a nearby nightclub. After I complain 2 times the hotel offer me another room (am 3:00).
The breakfast was great.

We specifically chose the Dusit Princess as...
We specifically chose the Dusit Princess as a 1-night stopover purely on the basis that it receives good reviews & because of its position close to Suvarnabhumi airport(30min drive)
Because we normally stay at the better known Hotels by the Chao Phraya river,we didn't have any high expectations,simply happy to utilise its location for a smooth transit.
The hotel,therefore,comes as a pleasant surprise.
The staff are all attentive & super-helpful,plus the Restaurants are better than you might expect (we'd just arrived from the 5*Sheraton in Hua -Hin & the breakfasts here were easily superior)
There is some traffic noise which is lessened by opting for a high floor(the sixth floor has recently been refurbished to a good standard)
Please don't expect the luxury of the Shangri-la or the Peninsular,but be prepared for a lesser known 4* punching above its weight.
The inexplicably high volume 'in-house' bar singer isn't condusive to a relaxing drink in the cocktail lounge,but some people seem to like it.

Most convient hotel if you are coming or going to the airport. Next to an enormous shopping centre. Very nice Hotel, quite classy. In house services excellent. Will stay again.
