My stay at the Suriwongse Tower Inn was very comfortable, the staff were friendly & helpfull,the room was clean with a great view of Bangkok,the only drawback was it position,I found the best way to get around Bangkok was by train, the nearest station was a fair walk but as I enjoyed walking it was no problem for me.

!! Nobody knows where this hotel is...
!! Nobody knows where this hotel is located, even the hotel map in thai is of no use !!, if you were to ask for the Executive Building opposite the Fuji hotel, you may stand a better chance of finding the place. This is a hotel for budget travellers/ backpackers only. the room on the 18th floor was MASSIVE, but you step back into the 1960's/70's with old furniture and cigarette burned settee, parquet flooring lifting, and wallpaper tearing off the wall. The saving grace was the shower, which was wonderfull, after travelling 10 hours that day. NO tea/coffee making facilities are offered, and to find that the bed had been made with a torn sheet that ran the length of the bed, was the final straw.
Would we go back there again ? ...even wild horses could'nt drag us back there again, look around for another hotel is my advice.

We were there for 3 days. We lived in a room in the 17th floor - the view was great. The hotel is located very central - you can easily use the bus, boat, tuk tuk or taxi. The room was very big. But the whole furniture was very, very old and the the room was not so really clean - maby it was clean, but it didn't look like that because the whole stuff was so old.. Altogehter it was o.k. for Bangkok, the price was great and we had all we needed..
