I think the hotel is not bad...
I think the hotel is not bad just that the bed is bit out of shape. Since they renovate and why not the bed. There is only 2 towel without the floor mate and small towel.

For the price you pay for, there is nothing more you can expect. I only need to pay an extra B54 for breakfast for my two kids sharing the same room. What more can I ask for.

The White Orchid is a true value for the budget-minded traveller. The rooms were very inexpensive and the staff was most courteous. While there were a few issues with mildew in the bathroom, it was clean and safe. I would stay there again, especially for the price.

Location is definately unbeatable, very convenient to good food and wholesale market. The hotel food is also quite tasty. However, the rooms are very rundown and smelly, some upgrading is required.

I have searched for a budget hotel...
I have searched for a budget hotel around the shopping area via the Internet. White orchid was very close to the shopping area. Moreover it was not so far from the attraction like the Grand palace, The Emerald Temple and museums.
The room was fine with the clean bathroom. Breakfast was good comparing with price. For a Backpacker It was a fantastic place, I would like to recommend this hotel.
It was my first time in Bangkok, I visited many attractions and went shopping not stay all day long in the hotel. It was well worth for the money and time.
