Good value for money
I stayed at the Pinnacle Inn for a couple of nights. The hotel is situated in a busy soi, near the Nana Skytrain station. Plenty of restaurants ans shops nearby.
The room has everything one needs, so it's really good value for money. I had to take a flight out of BKK at night and I got a good deal on the room for staying an extra half day.
I had a room with a streetview, and it gets quite noisy at night, so maybe it's better to ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

I stayed for 2 days. The hotel is located just 50 meters from Sukhumvit and Soi 3. Great arab restaurants nearby. Rooms and beds are small but sufficient for my needs. The lady and man at the reception will give you all information you need. The room was clean but had a smoking smell but not too bad. I liked the bathroom with a seperate shower cabin (no curtain). Most likely I will come again.

Good cheap Hotel,the area outside was pretty seedy with quite a few rather low lifes hanging around mostly Blacks and Arabs did not feel very safe and I hvae lived here for 7 years,

There is no internet in this hotel...
There is no internet in this hotel but the free bangkok internet via wireless does cover a bit. One big thing to watch out for is they do not have any storage for left luggage. this is a big problem when you are headed out to small islands or other side trips and you have a baggage allowance that is less than what you actually have. bangkok airport at the time was 100 baht per day per piece. the airline is like 1000 baht to bring it on if over a certain weight.
So if you know you have many bags and will go and come to the hotel off and on, then dont stay here.
Checkout the resturant near the bamboo club on soi 1/3 near by and you will love the food.
