Location- Very far from Nana Stt. As it's one way traffic not many tuk tuk n teksi would want to sent back to hotel some don't even know where. Was cheated by teksi driver sent half way near the Bumrungrad Hospital and ask to walk back Unico Leela. Ask me pay full fare.
Not worth the money paid for. Afterall hav to spend more on transport, back to square oned.
About 10-15mins walk to reach food stall n family mart.
Not suitable for travellers w old folks. It is middle eastern people area.
Wouldnt stay in this hotel again.

Generally the hotel is ok as you will not get a room at usd 25 near sukhumvit area. Just 10 minutes walk to the Nana junction where all the action takes place. The Hotel has small rooms and very small bathrooms. I just stayed for a day. Good thing they gave late check out till 3.00 pm for me. Friendly staff. The hotel road soi 3 is a one way. While coming the taxi has to take two full rounds to find the hotel They have changed the hotel name as UNICODE LEELA from 01st January 2007. You have a Pier near the hotel. Any one interested to take a ride in a boat can try this. Breakfast ok.

I was most impressed with the Manhattan Hotel. The staff was excellent and very courteous. The accommodations were above average. The breakfast was also excellent with many choices of food and fruit. The pool was very nice but the fitness center was under renovation so I have no comment on the fitness center.
The Manhattan, located on Soy 15, and is far enough off of the large traffic road (Sukhumvit road, Also Known As Rama 1 road), that the daily and nightly road loud traffic noise was not heard.
Access to the over head sky train (BMT) is at Asoke station (at Soy 21) is also next to the underground subway station, and both are about a 5 short block walk from the hotel. There are several very nice restaurants in the area and there are many Thai food trolleys up and down Sukhumvit road.
Access to the Manhattan is almost a direct route from the new airport (Suvarnabhumi). The airport is about 30 kilometers from down town Bangkok and the fare (depending on the time of day traffic) ranges between 200 and 350 Baht (less than $10.00 USD). When you arrive at the airport, go down one level to the taxi stand. Do Not take the limousine or a private car, (they are right outside the baggage claim area) as they can (and will) charge you $25.00 USD or more. The airport also provides a public bus service to Bangkok.
My stay at the Manhattan was from 01 December to 07 December 2006, and I wish I would have stayed much longer there.

Hotel is situated deep inside street of Soi 3. Not many tuk tuk would want to transport you back to the hotel as it is a one way street. They just drop you at the junction of Soi 3 and you have take a walk about 10-15 mins walk to reach the hotel.

Would not recommend this place to anyone unless travelling on a tight budget. The place is sleazy and filthy and the rooms are worn out and not very clean.

we choose for stay few hours only, as we have take the bus the next early morning.
The street are too dirty and dark, also smelly too.
But the restaurant in the hotel is good, fried rice noodle very good taste but too spicy for me only.
The air-con have to turn on long time to get cool feeling. Overall, we think it worth for its cost.

Overall comment for my stay at Leela Inn is the room is clean and this hotel is an affordable hotel for budget people/couple.But there is only one thing that i want to comment is that the receptionist at the front desk is totally rude. No smiling face, not friendly, ask question also can't answer in good manner.
