The room was bit small but well...
The room was bit small but well maintained.
No bathtub but hot shower is available.
Breakfast was acceptable.
Only dissatisfaction was unable to control the fun speed of AC.
If you are budget traveler and hotel is only for sleep, I would recommend.
Besides, no joiner fee and no need to give her ID but it might be just lucky, FYI.

I had a good stay at Unico Leela. The reception is accomodating. The bellboy is very helpful. The staff are basically friendly and they try their best to address your concerns. Although you will need to walk a couple of meters to the main road ( corner ), its location is relatively acceptable. For budget travelers, the hotel is ok.

I like the location as there is easy access to Pratunam while still being away from the busy city. The hotel is very clean & very good service. Me and my seven friends got full value for our money. I recommend this hotel to any budget traveller.

Its real disappointing service. The room seems average for a budget traveller but the toilet crampy and not suitable for caucasian traveller.
Beakfast generally ok for 2 days stay as limited choice. A hotel that dont believe in customer service. Complaints just blame on the other shift not willing to resolve complaint. The room not make up despite of personally informed at the desk. The receptionist who is a 'lady boy' was abnoxious. Probably not suitable for a job as fronliners, believe the toilet cleaner are more helpful and polite. Long walk to the BTS station and entertainment centre. Absoulutely not! to return to the hotel again.

Unico Leela was the worst hotel I had stayed in Bangkok, even the hotel had recently done an renovation as claimed in the website.
I booked the deluxe room online and expecting a wonderful stay. But to my horror when I opened the room door, the so-called deluxe room was worse than a standard room with yellow dim light (no natural light coming in). The wardrobe door fell apart when I opened it, nearly hit my head. The beautiful picture showed in the website for a deluxe room was completely wrapped out at first sight.
I went back to the front desk to complain and the staff claimed that was the deluxe room. He told me what could I expect as I booked online. I told him the actual condition of the deluxe room was totally different from the website shown and the standard room condition of other hotel at the same price range was far better than the deluxe room given to me. He replied the hotel manager put the picture in the website.
I could not stay in that worst condition room and asked for the Executive Deluxe Room and paid S$17 per night extra for 4-night stay.
The staff just passed me the door card key without directing me to the room. I wondered for 10 min and could not find the room number. Returned to the front desk, and was told that were 5 different lifts. How on earth would a first time travelers to the hotel knew which lift to take and the staff did not even lead the way.
This is the worst hotel and for a S$60 per night, I could have a better-serviced hotel along Sukhumvit Road. I would advise travelers not to take this hotel for their stay in Bangkok.

Hi, I would like to thank all staff for making our stay a very pleasant one.Front line staff at reception area seems a aloof at first,my understanding is that the ladies don't speak English well. Location is central,alots of muslim food around. Hotel provides good breakfast spread, unfortunately not halal. Anyway can do off with bread, cereal and fruits.
Dedicated and committed staff who found 2 off my diamond and gold rings in the front lobby washroom.Rings were returned to me by Khun Chainarong and Khun Natiton. Sincerely thanks them and Khun Surnapa from F&B for her directional routes on our short stay at the hotel.Keep up the good work, always keep on smiling.

We booked a superior room, it has no window at all.
The room is slightly longer than a deluxe room, with carpets and a bathtub (instead of a standing shower)
For 1010 baht, cannot complain too much as the breakfast is ok. (eggs, ham and bread with some local vegetables and meat)
When we check in the first night, the air-con leaks the whole night and cannot sleep.
But the manager is nice and changed our room the next day after 30 mins of conversation.

Overall the hotel was alright in terms of the service and also the breakfast was good. But the room that we stayed was a bit small, but it was clean, this is the good of it. Then, the location wise is also slightly bad as we would have to walk quite a distance about 10 minutes to get to skytrain after a long and tireness of shopping day, that we still have to walk for about 10 minutes distance to reach our hotel.
