Besides the ants on the table (who seemed to be loving my laptop), the mold-encrusted shower curtain kinda weirded me out....I guess for 800 baht a night, I should not complain but I have stayed at small boutique style-hotels at this rate that were much cleaner and better than this place...Location is great though and perhaps I just happened to get a dirty room????

The air conditioning unit, had not been serviced, in years, very dirty, hence, would be frozen all the time and worked for a maximum of one hour and then went onto the fan mode. The control knobs were broken too.
The shower rod was broken too, so the whole bathroom, would get wet, every time the shower was used.
Had a fall while in the hotel, asked for a couple of band aids, since there was some bleeding, but instead of trying to help, was told to go to any of the closest 7 11 stores.

Comfy bed, shame about the flies
The CH hotel is very conveniently located behind the night Bazaar in Chiang Mai. Easy to find and accessible by well lit streets, so good for the single traveller. Despite being behind one of the noisiest spots in the city the hotel itself was very quiet. Beds were very comfortable and linen was changed regularly. However, the hotel is in a poor state of decor, the bathroom was dirty and full of flies. Staff were not particularly attentive. The price I paid was quoted at less than half price at £120 instead of £350 for 8 nights. I would have been horrified if I had paid full whack for this. I think there are probably better hotels in Chiang Mai for the same price.

CH Hotel - Great
Our stay at CH was close to perfect. Amazing location in a back alley right opposite the infamous Night Bazaar. The hotel rooms are clean and well furnished, bathrooms stocked with amenities and designed with function in mind. The bath is a bit small but this isn't really an issue. The buffet style breakfast is satisfying but can be improved (The sound track they played during our 3 days at breakfast was amazing. Very sensual, R&B classic remakes, good for a laugh!). I recommend CH for price and location.

I booking a room for 2 people and 1 child, you give me a room with 2 small bed. Impossible sleep and the reception don't want help me, may be give me room with big bed.

Were not sure of what to expect...
Were not sure of what to expect when I booked the hotel, but was very surprised at the location and appearance of hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always eager to assist. The quality and variety of food for breakfast was good, though not always hot. Were very surprised at how sound proof the rooms were being right next door to the markets - didn't here a sound late at night. The aircon and swimming pool were a blessing on the hot days. Would definitely stay again.
