Exceptional
Having visited Chiang Mia three times this year, and experiened three hotels, this one, the Chedi came out tops for me. Everyone is so friendly, the staff attentive and always available to give you that feel of "personal attention". The facilities were magnificent, made use of the gym, swimming pool and of course the restaurant. At no time could one find fault......in fact this will be the hotel of choice on all future visits to Chiang Mia, and the City is brilliant so there are further plans to visit later this year and into 2011, Chedi will get my patronage.

The booking through AsiaRooms was perfect, two days before we arrived we received a nice email from the Chedi welcoming us to their Hotel.
The Hotel itself was superb, an absolutely wonderful place, superb service, the club suite was huge and extremely clean.
All in all we could not find fault with anything that the hotel delivered, service especially was fantastic throughout our stay with the staff eager to please at every opportunity without seeming obtrusive.
Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to explore Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand.

Quite easily one of the best hotels...
Quite easily one of the best hotels in Asia - if not the world! Great location - not too close to the madness yet close enough to find it if you want it. Service is excellent - right throughout the hotel; and I mean everyone and everywhere. The second best bit about this hotel is that it serves food & wine at not-too-crazy prices and hence doesn't force a guest to look for alternatives outside if they don't wish to leave the hotel! Kudos to the hotel management for getting this right! However, the best of all is the hotel itself - it's an amazingly beautiful space; clean lines, fabulous fabrics and artwork dotted throughout the hotel...and an idyllic setting. I've been lucky enough to have stayed in many hotels around the world - and The Chedi is right up there with the best!

Everyting was OK. Only 2 issues can be improved.
1. the room was noisy, since is near by the city center. Lot of traffic noise.
2. the breakfast was very slow, because it was not a 100% buffet, if you want some eggs you should ask for them and then they make a order to the restaurant of the hotel and is take maybe 15 min.
but generally it was a very good hotel. totally recomendable!!!

The Chedi in Chiang Mai was everything we expected and more. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite which was amazing. The service was second to none. This is a beautiful hotel and well worth spoiling yourself for. Highly recommended!

Everywhere in the hotel is full of design. I am really excited and satisfied with the spacious room and stylish furniture. The wiew from the balcony is wonderful and fantastic. We all had good dreams in the music of high class acoustics in the room. Breakfast is also of best quality and perfect service. Very close to city center. Chedi is the first choice in Chiang Mai.
