Very good location. Albeit there is 5 minute walk to Night bazaar and 15 walk to old town area (lots of night activities)
The room is clean, breakfast is ok. And the Stuff is very helpful.
At this price range..this is the best value.

I really like your rooms is big....
I really like your rooms is big. But there are mosquitoes in the rooms. The hotel should add more english & mandarin cablevision programme for foreigns rather than almost all channels is in thai language.
The location is quite good, is it very near to the night bazzar, very convience.

It was un fortunate that they are building extra space which created dust but thats expected. The work starts at 8am whick is ok ,unfortunately my hired car was damaged at the rear fender with construction traffic overnight that cost me 5.000Bt. and as always in Thailand nobody is responsible.
The location of the facility is very central and I have stayed there before and will again I expect.

Our stay at The Star was very pleasant. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and welcoming. Only the bathroom was a bit dodgy - the shower head was faulty and water came out rather unevenly. Water pressure wasn't good either. However, it's sufficient for a shower. Breakfast is decent and it's just 2 minutes' walk to the night bazaar, which makes it ideal for us. Excellent value. I'd definitely stay here again.

This hotel is really good and very convenient in term of location. To think that it is just a cheap and budget hotel. Easily access to anywhere and near to night bazzar. Finding food to eat, shop n massage have no problem at all. The hotel room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Bathroom is clean n well-kept too. I would like to give a '5' for the rating. And will definitely recommend it to more of my friends..

Good location, very less facilities, no swimming pool need to go to sister hotel few meter away, near to night market, good breakfast, near to airport. We do enjoy our stay at Star hotel.
The only bad thing too loud music at night (after 2300hrs) from nearby life band cafe.

Stayed 2 nights (Nov 27 & 28, 2005). Excellent location - just a short street away from the Night Bazaar stalls. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The Star hotel and furnishings are old, the rooms are dark and depressing. The first room assigned to me had a horrible stench but they changed me to another when I requested. The windows do not seal well so I got to "enjoy" rather bad Karaoke singing late into the night. The buffet breakfast is uninspiring and has limited selections. Perhaps this is being too critical given the price but I would rather pay slightly more for more pleasant surroundings... which I did by moving to another hotel down the road the next night.

A low budget hotel with the basic facilities. Location is good because of its proximity to the Night Bazaar, food outlets like MacDonalds, Starbucks and the Anusarn Market. Very, very convenient. 7 Eleven is just down the road.
The room is clean eventhough the whole hotel needs some refurbishing especially the carpet and plumbing. The reception area is a bit dark and gloomy.
During our stay there we had problems with the plumbing in the bathroom. Water leaked down from the ceiling near the bath tub area. However, the staff were fast in rectifying the problem. Because of its rate and location, I recommend it especially to those who seek convenience and location.
