It was uncomfortable to stay in this hotel
We suffered a lot during our stay in this hotel, maintenance work was going in tn the hotel and it was very noisy especially during early morning!
the rooms are too old , the room lights are not enough, and it was dark even when switching on all the lights, the breakfast was very very poor and there was no choices , and the breakfast restaurant was in a place where the sewage water pipes are passing in the roof, also the breakfast tools very old

good location
we loved our stay at suriwongse hotel. the location is great. walk out from hotel strait to the night bazar. 5 minutes walk from anusan market. 20 minutes walk from worarot market. friendly staff. stayed there twice and loved the quality of the room (in the new section of the hotel).

ok , the location was good , too close to the night Bazar but ,
1- the room was smelly (bad smell)
2- Too noisy (renovation) + unknown sound from the aircond. every 5 minutes
3- Poor Breakfast
and they are charching for the ( Lundry Bags !!!)

Great sized rooms, great location nice and close to the night bazaar/markets. Colleagues used the laundry service and found it efficient and good value. Unfortunately in the rooms there was no information about the hotel services etc.. number for room service or house keeping.

Anniversary Stay
Second time staying at this hotel. Room was spacious. Was given a deluxe room on the Orchid Wing. Right outside the hotel is the Night Bazzar and plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from.
The old block is under renovation. Noticed that the hotel will be managed by Movenpick in mid 2011.
Hope that the rates will remain reasonable.
Small hiccups-----only one small bottle of shampoo, no toothbrush provided, no shower cream. No extra soap even after the 3rd night.
Overall staff were very friendly. Breakfast can be better.

Suriwongse in Chiang Mai - Excellent location and service
The location could not be better cos' the hotel is right in the heart of Night Bazaar.

The Suriwongse - while showing its age...
The Suriwongse - while showing its age a little - is your traditional old style Hotel. Its rooms are clean and spacious and it has all the traditional services.
It is also in a great location - near the Anusarn market and close to the city centre.
The Suriwongse is great value at this price.
