This was a beautiful resort way up in the hills The downside was that it was 35 mins (by car etc) from Chiang Mai which we had allowed for but may not suit some families etc. However the hotel does provide rtntransport into CM for a small fee and we made good use of this If you stay for any lenght of time rent a car or even a driver. We booked the standard (deluxe) room and it was perfectly good size far bigger than many places we have stayed in It came with a large balcony but had nothing to sit on. The staff were very pleasant and helpful All in all it was an oasis of peace and calm

Nice mountain view resort. Mountain steams run through the resort, and large place to walk around within the resort compound. The resort is located well away from the main road. The only problem I encountered was, bacause each deluxe or superior deluxe room has an adjacent door to the next room, sound will transmit through the door into your room, especially at quiet night. Besides this, it is a really nice resort, with helpful and friendly staffs. Though the resort is 30 minutes from the town, but this inconvienient is resolved by providing three daily transport to town at 50 baht per person.

We stayed at Belle Villa resort last weekend. It was our 40th Wedding anniversary and we were treated like newlyweds as soon as the staff knew it was our anniversary. The room was exactly as shown by Asia Rooms website. Very clean. Not large by some standards, but we loved the lovely balcony overlooking beautiful gardens. The air conditioning (important this time of year!!)worked perfectly and the overall cleanliness of the room was excellent. Note that our standard room did not have a tub - but was very modern with a great shower. A refreshing fruit drink was given to us as we climbed the steps for registration. It was the attentive staff that made our stay so great. They even surprised us with a heart-shaped cake sent to our room by the staff! For a romantic get-away from the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai - this resort is perfect. Two wonderful pools with a view of the surrounding mountains.The resort restaurant was very good quality and our breakfast came with the room. Please note that this resort is 45 minutes out of town and there is nothing else here....So to relax, swim, and enjoy the quiet - this is a great choice. We will definately recommend and go back ourselves. We chose this resort based on the good reviews from others at Asia Rooms website. Thanks!! Mrs. Cheryl Potter

My Daughter and I recently stayed at...
My Daughter and I recently stayed at Belle Villa, for myself it was the second time. The day after my arrival I became very ill and the holet staff took me directly to hospital with my daughter and the driver stayed until my daughter sent him away as I had to be admitted. I needed surgery for acute appendicitis as was hospitilised for 4 days. During that time the Resort staff looked after my daugher - supplied us with soup, drove my daughter between the Resort and Hospital whenever she was ready and Management visited me in Hospital. It made us feel very special and I would like to thank all the special people at Belle Villa for thier kindness and concern... you are are beautiful people and I hope to see you all in the not too distant future.
Although out of town approx 30 - 40 minutes the Resort is like a little part of heaven set in the hills.

An ideal retreat for a peaceful relaxing break. Comfortable, spacious and clean accommodation in the house suites but limited restaurant facilities on site and no convenience store for those wishing to self-cater. Located in the hills a cooler evening/early morning climate than Chiang Mai city which is about a 35 minute drive away down a good but winding mountain road.
