The hotel location is good, although it is out of the city but it will take about 10-15 mins ride to the heart of city. Hotel's facilities and amenities are very good. The food was delicious and staffs were very helpful and friendly.

This was our 2nd stay at Phowadol - both times we were upgraded. This time our cottage had a shower/tub outside(very private). I guess you get rain in your shower water during rainy season. ;) It was so very gorgeous, fantastic friendly service, and even though there was a Thai wedding going on, it was quiet!!! Amazing! We had our own car - transport might not be so convenient without one.

This has to be among one of the best value for money and indulgent places we have stayed in Thailand. The garden cottage we stayed in was spotless and the staff at this hotel are second to none.Admittedly we went at a quiet time but the staff remembered names and could not do enough for you. It is a little to far out of Chiang Rai to walk but for a small fee there are plenty of tuk tuks. A beautifully landscaped resort perfect for unwinding.

The hotel is new and is a resort thus if you are looking for hotel that is near shopping centres this may not be ideal. The staff were friendly and courteous. We were happy with their services.
The breakfast spread was good and tasty. The room was clean and modern. The surrounding environment was pleasant with quite a lot of greenery.
Overall we had a good stay and will definitely go back again.

My family stayed in this lovely, peaceful resort after New Year's. I was VERY impressed by the service. When we arrived with our two young children and our mother in law, the hotel kindly upgraded one of our rooms for no extra charge to a nicer room so that our family could be close to one another. The hotel grounds are pretty and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a DVD library to choose from and DVD players in each room which is a nice touch. The well appointed bathrooms have nice deep tubs and lovely bubble bath! When we went to breakfast, the staff made up our bed even though they came back later to do a full room cleaning! The staff was helpful with directions and suggestions for activities. I would suggest staying in the cottages and the upper level if possible. I would happily stay here again. We were sad to leave!
