Hotel situated south of the main beach but still with adequate beach and sunbeds for those inclined. Hotel fine and good value for money. Internet available, and hot water available on each floor. So take your tea bags if you are British.
Majority of holiday makers on this beach were Thai, you can drive right up to the beach. Ample good food available.
The only disadvantage is the distance you have to walk if you do not have transport. About 10 mins walk is the bus stop. Only 10 baht to anywhere in town, a bargain but this goes up to 15 baht after 7pm. Use these because taxi and tuc tuc will try to charge you 200 baht to go into town. We travelled from Bangkok for only 180 baht so 200 baht seemed a bit steep.

Good Valua for Money
Large, clean rooms, very cheap, no 5 minutes stroll to very nice beach with bars and restaurants. Absolutly worth the 1,000 Bt per night for 2 people incl. (very basic) breakfast.

The staff were very helpful ,but while there it was low season. The hotel is a bit on the old side ,but still good value ,but miles from town ,and has great places to eat in the area.

This is my 2nd visit to this hotel, ideal location for beach lovers, just a 4 min walk,hotel has adequete pool with shaded areas. Rooms, above average size & clean. breakfast fine, staff friendly. What you have here is a 3 star hotel at 2 star prices ! Excellent value.

Enjoyed our stay at the Takiab Beach...
Enjoyed our stay at the Takiab Beach resort- was close to the very beautiful beach south of Monkey Mountain , which is also short walk away. 10 baht bus to Hua Hin also a short walk from the Hotel - maybe 2 blocks. Breakfast was decent with Eggs cooked to your liking and usually bacon and sausages, along with some Thai dish and fresh fruit. Pool was small but very refreshing and never too busy that you couldnt find a nice lounger.
Best of all was free wifi internet - one of the few places on our holiday that offered that.
I found the beds a bit uncomfortable , but the staff tried to make things better and brought a foamy to put on top. Overall a very good value.

We stayed the 4. time and now...
We stayed the 4. time and now 37 days. The hotel has a restaurant, but the kitchen ist closed. Snaks, Icecream and Drinks are availebel.Only 3 restaurants in a walkingdistanz up to 15 minutes. Taxi no problem 150 Baht to Hua Hin, or 10 minutes walk and than the bus 10 Baht.
Breafast poor. Toast and eggs, not everyday rice or noodle, pineapplejuce (5 times orangejuce in 37 days)and iff some japaneese guest are in the hotel ricesoup.Fruits: Watermelon and pineapple. NO CHANGE.
