Lack of facilities. There was no electric kettle or even telephone in room. Location of the hotel is rather bad with no convenient marts or eateries around. The place is hard to find especially at night when there is limited lighting around. Very far from town and other places.

I spent 3 nights there, and it was very nice...all staff was so nice with us. They gave us all what we need. It's a perfect place if you need tranquility, calm. This place is appreciate to relax after a busy week at work.

I recommand this place. The tour on island is perfect.each time, we were alone or almost in different island we visited.

Go there. The only thing, you have to be aware, it's not white sand and paradisiac beach. But hotel make you forget that. Very good for long week end.

Fabulous place but in the middle of...
Fabulous place but in the middle of no-where ideal from someone who wants to get away from it all and relax. There is no entertainment or bar at the hotel no tea or coffe making facilities in the room either and you are very isolated...the standard of accomodation is excellent tho.

It was very isolated which turned out to be a good thing. Beautiful rooms, large selection of cocktails and really good food. The pool was wonderful and they ran tours free tours every 2nd day and had paid tours every day. Quiet and peaceful I would definitely go back.

Hotel is located on the other side of Krabi,away from the dirty and crowded Ao Nang beach. Ao Nang is very similiar to phuket,pattaya etc. Filled with tourists and beaches are quite dirty. The only perks were cheap food and drinks.
At this hotel, the beach is almost entirely yours (though not very well maintained)...but the white sand and the pool at the hotel makes up for that. The view is fantastic and you dont have touts haggling your to purchase items or for massage!!
Room is huge , and there were probably just 14 individual buildings(rooms) , very ideal for guests who do not like to be looking around for seats etc. Staff are friendly..
Hotel does charge 700baht (quite high) to travel into Krabi Town, abit more if you intend to travel to Ao Nang to take a look. They do provide a shuttle bus (free) on a wednesday, departs at 11am and returns at around 4pm. If travelling into town on other days, best to check with other guests and some are willing to share a cab with you.
Airport transfers (arrival & departure) can be arranged with the hotel. They charge 500baht per way. Again, you would be able to split this cost if you are sharing with others.
WIFI is available but at a crawling speed. Plenty of DVDs for you to choose from (even those that have just been released at the US!).
We stayed 4nights in Krabi loved the location. All you need is a day at Ao Nang and it's more than sufficient.
Though, the cafe does charge at least 5times more for a dish that's easily available for 20-30baht at Ao Nang (road side food). Oh, carefully check what you have been charged on your bill (when checking out).
