We mostly enjoyed our 2-day stay. The staff were very helpful and the hotel looks lovely. There is a good 12 - 15 minute walk to the beach but tuk-tuks are plentiful. The one drawback is the rather unusual bathroom arrangement. In addition to a door, there is a louvre linking the bathroom with the bedroom. We could not work out why it was there. In a hotel in Kulala Lumpur, we have found a similar arrangement which enables someone taking a bath to watch the television in the bedroom. In this hotel, that's not possible because you'd have to lie most uncomfortably at the tap end. The problem with the louvre arrangement, even when shut, is that all sounds - and smells - from the bathroom are instantly noticed in the bedroom. For this reason, we'd probably not return.

Thai Village resort was very comfortable. Staff were very pleasent and helpful particularly when we asked to change rooms because of noisy children above us.
Breakfast was good - quite a good choice.
Drawback is that it is quite a walk away from the beach and shops restaurants etc.

The Krabi Thai Village Resort was a beautiful and clean oasis in the Ao Nang Beach area. The traditionally styled pavilion lobby was spectacular. The room was spacious and nicely appointed, the service warm and friendly, and the overall ambiance very relaxing. We chose a deluxe room, which was on the third floor. There was no elevator, so there was a good bit of stairs to cover when coming and going. Also be aware that the resort is located on a road without sidewalks, making the walk down to the beach a bit treacherous.

We had a fantastic stay at the Thai Village Hotel, everything and all the staff were excellant, the room was large and well cleaned and the pools suited everyone. One thing that needs to be upgraded is the fitness suite, the equipment is outdated with no cv machines apart from this we had a great stay and would visit again

We had a lovely greeting from reception and the hotel manager. The room was amazing and the decor on the bed was a fantastic touch. The pools were nice and the tour desk very helpful. A great stay.

A very pleasant stay with good facilities. Wasn't too close to the main resort but in easy walking distance (or a tuk tuk ride). Staff were very helpful. Nice sized pool.One of our favourite places on our travels. We recommend the speed boat ride to the beautiful islands and the kayaking around the mangrove forests.

The hotel staff were EXCELLENT. Very courteous and warm. Our only negative was the room was not well aired and there was a stench from the plumbing in the bathroom. We had to leave the windows open to get rid of the smell.
