Great holiday, very nice hotel, probably the best service in Thailand. 5 star hospitality in a friendly environment!

Nice hotel beside the beach with nice view of the island from the terrace of the restaurant.
For sure I will come back to this pleasant hotel.
Only one drawback: the location is a little bit difficult to find even with an updated GPS. Hopefully people are gentle to help us find our way.

Absolutely loved the hotel and want to spend christmas there. The restaurant was excellent and had a great varied menu.
Every member of staff that I came in contact with were very friendly and helpful.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

An excellent hotel in a slightly problematic...
An excellent hotel in a slightly problematic location - one occasionally gets the "square peg in a round hole" sensation when the Rabbit is so quintessentially Thai and intimate (49 units in separate two-storey houses) and laidback and jungly, and yet is surrounded by tall white concrete monstrosities and the still-hectic rhythms of the quieter end of Pattaya (enough said).
Full marks and more for courteous and prompt service on all fronts, for large well-appointed rooms, excellent and sensibly-priced food on site, lovely landscaping, a nice pool area (in fact two - one "quiet pool" exclusively for adults and one for families), and for generating a sense of relaxation and comfort.
Has its own small stretch of beach out front, and the street separating it from the seafront is closed to motor traffic between 10:00 and 17:00. This is a boon, but does mean daytime arrivals should do their homework on the business of getting in by the back entrance (the hotel does provide full instructions on its website).
Jomtien Beach is a more family-oriented version of Pattaya, but the fringe-effects of Thailand's skin trade are still visible, and may cause discomfort to some. The hotel is located at the northern end of the beach, in a section known as Dongtan. It has a name as a gay beach, but is hardly startling or outrageous in that department, and we found nothing to ruffle any but the most sensitive feathers.
Very good golfing opportunities within easy range, and the hotel (or programme suppliers in Jomtien itself) will supply pick-up and transfer services to courses nearby.
The Rabbit Resort, run by a charming American-Thai married couple, comes highly recommended for couples and mature travellers, although families with young children can also benefit from baby-sitting services. The lack of in-room WiFi might put off business travellers, but this is a holiday destination in any case.
The term "oasis" is woefully overused, but it fits a treat here. I would have no hesitation about going back for more.

Rabbit Resort is a very lovely, little island in the near of the terrible city of Pattaya.
A little privat jungle, a beuautyful garden, a lot of great palms, exotic trees, nice flowers. With nice and stylish, traditional Thai designed wooden houses/bungalows.
Friendly service, familiar atmosphere, free wireless internet (but not at the whole property).
Bring a wooden/china bunny with, they have a collection!

Our stay at Rabbit Resort was very good. The villa was furnished well. The staff was very friendly. The food for breakfast was fresh and very delicious. We especially liked the fact that Rabbit Resort has an adult and a family pool. Both pools were maintained well. It was very relaxing around the adult pool and it looked like the kids were having a great time at the other pool. The whole resort was also landscaped incredibly well. You did not feel like you were in the middle of the city, rather in a small town in the middle of a forest. The only negative of our trip was the beach outside the resort. The water was alright, but the beach itself is covered with umbrellas as far as you could see. There were people everywhere. It wasn't what I would call relaxing. I didn't care much for the city of Pattaya either, but I would go back to Rabbit Resort!

During the year I stay at lots of hotels for business, so I get to be a bit picky.
The Rabbit Resort was very good as a holiday hotel. The staff and service were excellent. The location I think for the area was good. I liked walking right out of the hotel grounds across the mini road to the hotels beach area ( a new addition ) . Having two pools one for adults only was very nice. The small kitchen area in the room with its large fridge was better than expected. The 32in flat screen TV with 60 channels was welcome, perhaps a DVD player would have been a nice 'extra ' as I had my own portable one I was ok.
The only drawback is car access, it needs more signs.
