I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff pleasent and helpful. The food was excelent also. I will definately be staying there again on my next visit to Pattaya.

Room was a bit too dark, hallway was like walking through a PRISON! Breakfast was ok. Pool was a bit unfriendly to non-swimmers 6ft deep, maybe that's why it was empty whenever we used it?! Good location though, close enough to the action but far enough not to hear the noise. Everything about this hotel seems... Grey. Don't use the hotel taxi back to Bangkok for B1500 when you can get one just outside for just B750. Lots of television channels for those who just stay in for the tv! Friendly helpful staff.

The Baiyoke hotel is generally OK, and you can't complain too much considering the price. I chose it because of it's location, and therefore was not expecting a luxury 5*. I have to agree with past comments, that the breakfast could be a lot better... the Thai seemed to be alright, but the European was terrible. The orange juice was pretty disgusting and the fried eggs were cold !! There also was some noise from other guests in the early morning, but only occasionally. I also have to agree with past comments on the staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. The room was always cleaned well and the bed, although a little firm, had clean sheets and was generally comfortable. The bath/shower control needed some attention, but the shower worked adequately. I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for good value for money and a location which makes it easy to get to most of the main 'attractions of Pattaya, either walking or by taxi.

Seriously..you should not stay in the Baiyoke hotel. First of all, the lighting of the hotel was depressing. they should seriously get yellow lights, and brighten up the place. Secondly the breakfast was terrible. no choice at all.. mostly thai food. they should add on some western dishes, or atleast an omlette station. I guess the best thing was the staff. very friendly and nice. i recommend welcome plaza for the same price, and better location.

SERIOUSLY BAD... first impression was gloomy... and run downed... and the minute u step in.. there was a STENCH!! The hotel staffs were ok though.. pretty helpful.. the breakfast.. well.. only the plain bun was decent.. it is far from the beach and shopping area.. the pillows and bedsheets were torn.. and old... some stained!
i dont ever wanna stay there again~

Not a bad hotel. Location is very good, near Walking Street, Sunee Plaza, Pattaya Beach, cheap laundry shops and Jomtiem Beach is a short ride away. The staff are friendly and obliging. The room is not new but well-kept, with everything working well. The bed is hard and wonderful for the back. The bathroom is spotless and the shower is a huge cascade of pouring waterfall- very exhilarating. Breakfast is limited but for US$18 a night, one can't complain. The only problem is the many Indian guests who make a lot of noise at 2 a.m., but this stopped after complaining to the reception. For the final evening, I had a nice meal in their side-walk grill restaurant, very good value.
