Very good hotel. The rooms are nice and the hotel is located in the center of Pattaya.You may have a quiet room or a noisy one, depending on the side of the street. Better ask when you check-in.

great location... Shame about the noise. Paper thin Walls ment me and my wife was woken at 3 am and kept awake till 7 when the guy next door checked out. We were put next to the lifts so constant noise from the motors and people exiting. Air con did not work.
If you want to be close to bars to go brassing it's good.. Apart from that I did not enjoy the one night we stayed.
Breakfast was terrible!

The hotel is ideally located right near...
The hotel is ideally located right near the Central Festival center (in 5 min. walking distance, so if you prefer shopping here) and in 2 min. walking from the beach. To my surprise, water in the sea near the hotel was relatively clean, have no idea whether due to the seasonal features or something else. Initially I planned staying here 1-2 nights but finally spent there 7 nights, all my vacation in Pattaya. Due to the low season (beginning of May) price of $62 per nignt for this good 4-star hotel is very good. Also, bars surrounding Sunbeam are great and prices here are good too. I like the tenderness of the hotel staff and I would definitely stay here during my next visit to Pattaya!

the staff was helpful ,but I was really disapponited with the managment who charged me 600 baht each time i had a lady stay over or even visit me and i didnot think that was fair nor right and beleived that I was being taking advantage of which i resented strongly,their explaination for the overcharge was that you only booked the room for single person therefore we have have to charge xtra for guests,anyway didnot make any sense ,their security guards were extra helpful nonetheless enjoyed my stay in pattaya and would come back again but not to sunbeam..

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly, but is located on a very lively street so sleeping on the lower floors might be a bit noisy. Great value for money when booking through AsiaRooms but we required an extra night when we arrived and the hotel wanted to charge us full rate so stayed last night at another hotel. Only hotel in the area to charge to bring back a lady (600bht).

to start I have stayed at this hotel many times, I love the entire staff very helpful and very nice, easy to talk to, and very close to the new mall Centerl Mall like five minute walk, huge new mall and very nice. would all ways come back to the SunBeam Hotel they treat me like family.

We had everything we needed good room, clean, swimming pool, swim up bar, gym and the hotel is very central for bars, restaurants and shopping, this is our second stay there and would definately use it again, the only downfall is it is more expensive than other hotels and that might deter us next time. other hotels which we priced were all around 1000 to 1500 baht compared to 2300 baht at the Sunbeam and with the world the way it is could be there downfall next year. We had one night in room 501 and then came back after a nightmare of one night in the Jomtien grand palace hotel and stayed another four nights in room 505
