Just a few words concerning communication.
The wi-Fi often did not work. All of my friends complained about the lack of available free WiFi and suggested to them that they should provide free wifi in the room like most good hotels.
The staff have poor knowledge of English but are friendly. I had workèrs make noise on Sunday morning which wasn't very nice for the guests.
The phone was turned off for 3 out of the 5 days that I was there. Apart from the above, it was very pleasant. Regards. M

Overall the hotel was fab. Staff friendly and welcoming, even with getting lost in translation couldnt have been more helpful. The rooms clean and equipped (we had garden room which has only shower no bath), however the walls are very thin and could everything from next door, tv, music and air conditioning unit! Breakfast was American style buffett plenty and freshly cooked to order, also had Asian fayre. There is a lovely French coffee shop expensive in comparison with the local food but wow incredible pastries and coffee.
The location is great far enough from the frenetic centre for peace and quiet, however only a 20min walk or 10baht tutut ride downtown. Many markets bars shops in the local vicinity.
The beach(very small) is a 5min walk down a country lane and the owner of the bar cleans the beach himself and offers sunbeds and umbrellas for 50baht a day.
Would thoroughly reccommend this hotel and hope to go back next year!

The setting at this hotel is very peaceful. Our only complaint would be that the electricals in our room where faulty, and at times when you flicked the main switch the room flickered like a Christmas tree. Otherwise the service was good, room was clean and food by the pool also of a good quality. I had a massage and the staff were great. Whilst there are two pools, we used the smaller one as it was quieter. Had dinner in the Italian restaurant and received excellent food and service. There are a couple of German restaurants across the road, otherwise it seems to be primarily girly bars in the nearby vacinity. Breakfast was good. The hotel is a good walk from the beach, but the peaceful surroundings compensate for this.

This hotel was great to say the least. This had been my second trip to Thailand in the last 8 months and I'm glad I chose this hotel. The location was great (only 10-15 mins from downtown), the staff members were very friendly and courteous and the facilities were a plus. Although the diner and spa may have been a little more pricy than some of the sites outside the hotel, they were well worrth the price as we didn't want to travel all over the place to find the same type of services. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips...I highly recommed the little bakery (La Baquette) as all the food there was delicious!! If I ever get to make another trip to Thailand, this is definitely where I'll be trying to stay!! Just want to say thank you to all of the staff members for their hospitality and warmth...best wishes always!!

Very comfortable, an oasis. The staff are courteous and helpful, always with a smile.
The room was very good, swimming pool brilliant and breakfast splendid.
The Saturday night buffet dinner was sumptious.
Overall a most pleasant experience.
The coffee shop attached to the hotel -'La Baguette'-is an absolute must, the cakes are to die for.

Just stayed at the Woodlands and had a fantastic time. Great location if you want to be close to all of the things happening in Pattaya, but not be stuck in the center. Despite being on a busy road, was very quite and the staff and service were excellent.
Food was good both at breakfast and room service.
Before going I read a lot of feedback from reviews and all the postive things were absolutely true, the only negative thing people commented on where the mosquitoes and although you do get them there due to the gardens/water, we did not find them any worse than a lot of other places.
The gardens, pools and overall layout are very good and most rooms are a good view. Beds were very comfortable, but bathrooms were a bit small.
We were a family of 4 and everbody enjoyed our stay, would reccomend it and would definitely stay there again.

The service could be better, the facilities too (especially the fitness room) and the room could use some paint.
The design is pretty nice, the garden with its two pools.
