Better elsewhere
Far better value for money elsewhere. Hotel is old and run down with substandard rooms. I'm now staying in a new questhouse for far less, with better everything. Receptionist was quite rude. Will never return.

Very very disapointing, what we ordered was...
Very very disapointing, what we ordered was not what we got, Hotel staff thought it was more important to answer the telephones than to deal with customers waiting at reception, was told to take what they had to offer, not what we had requested, or leave it and lose our money or pay more.
Pool not children friendly very sharp tiles and stone granite edging, hotel has conference room backing onto the pool serves its food and refreshments, no privecy all 100+ deligates sit watching you in the pool.
Breakfast food also very limited mainly left over food. On a plus must say the security staff were excellent very helpfull, alert and careing a lesson the hotel staff could learn.

Overall a good value hotel in a great location surrounded by all amenities. Much better value from a foreigner's perspective than a local, overall I found it a bit average and it has the clear Thai managed stamp on it which if you live here you will recognise instantly. I was however disappointed to have 2 katoey hookers pestering me around the main doors to the hotel upon arriving back from dinner one evening - what were security playing at allowing this, and I am talking about the doors to the actual building, not the car park. you expect this on the beach road but not at the entrance to your hotel.
Breakfast - excellent
Staff - very polite and courteous
TV - pathetic effort,outrageous for a tourist hotel, and so many local packages available for peanuts with plenty of choice too; any small guest house locally at half the price has 40+ channels. A real disappointment to have 1 English language channel + movies + sport. No channel for children.
Pool - OK
Water - I was on 11th (top) floor and the pressure was poor
Bathroom - clean but old and jaded, poor shower
