JA Villa hotel is a quiet &...
JA Villa hotel is a quiet & respectable hotel well away from the seedier parts of Pattaya. The hotel has no swimming pool & is quite far away from the beach. The staff are very friendly & helpful & good English is spoken. They have Indian, German & French TV news channels but no English language news channels (BBC CNN Sky etc). Only Bloomsberg Business News is in English. The local & hotel taxi service costs 100 Baht from the hotel to the beach & North Pattaya air conditioned Coach/Bus station which serves both Eastern (Ekkamai) & Northern (Morchit) bus station in Bangkok . Bell Travel Service operate a good air conditioned bus service to & from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport every 2 hours and they will pick you up at this hotel all included in the 200 Baht per person fare to the airport. I have stayed here several times and always enjoy my stay.

It was very basic but over priced...
It was very basic but over priced in my opinion. Swimming pool was very small, breakfast was the worst i have ever known for a hotel in thailand. Glad i was in hotel for only 2 weeks. If it had been the full 5 weeks as planned would have checked out and gone somewhere else.
